I have asked Career Valet several times to help me revamp my resume, usually when I was preparing to apply for a new job. Marcelle is an absolute gem to work with. She is professional, sends back edited drafts quickly, responds promptly to questions, and has wonderful insights about how to best show employers that you are the right person for the job. She's well-versed and up-to-date on what employers want to see in a resume. She's also really good at helping you showcase your skill sets instead of titles; this is especially valuable if you're considering a career change. I've referred several friends and family members to Career Valet for resume services over the last few years, and they have also been pleased with her work. I cannot recommend Marcelle and her team enough.

Worked with Career Valet on several occasions since 2020 and have nothing but the best experiences. Marcelle helped me not only rewrite my CV but view my entire career un a new light - totally eye opening. My impression was: Super professional, dedicated, honest, hard working people wishing the best for their clients - and working for it. Also their online events were super helpful.

had been in my old job/career for 14 years and wanted to advance into management. My resume was that old and required a GREAT deal of updating. Not only that, it was a government job that required use of their clunky application and resume system. Ms. Yeager showed me how to modify my resume specifically to the job I was applying to ensuring all job requirements and relevant information was in my resume. I can honestly say, without the assistance and tenacity of Career Valet, my resume and application would have fallen into the bin of common applicants, and not the ones that stood out. Because of their assistance I received the new job, new path, and confidence I need to continue my path forward.

I've been tuning in to Career Valet's webinars for the past year or so, and they are always worthwhile. I've learned a lot about good CVs, job searching and interviewing. Marcelle and her team are generous with their knowledge about the aid sector. Many thanks, Career Valet!

Marcel is a deeply knowledgeable expert who knows how to get results. She is also compassionate and understands the journey she helps people on.

"I've now had the opportunity to review my LinkedIn profile, and I honestly don't have any edits—it's exceptionally well done. Thank you both so much for the time, care, and expertise you put into creating it. I truly appreciate the thoughtful way you've presented my experience and the attention to every detail. I'm sincerely grateful for all of your hard work and support throughout this process. It means a great deal to me, and I couldn't be happier with the final result."

The work we did together helped me really identify where I wanted to be next and gave me the confidence to negotiate my salary. While the opportunity just 'fell in my lap' I don't think I would have been able to articulate my needs in an authentic way had it not been for you. They had initially offered me a lower level role and after negotiation changed it to a senior managing associate role.

I want to thank you for everything you did to support me in my search. I literally could not have done it without you! You really set me up for success and gave me the confidence I needed to make this transition. Not only that, but these materials (resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile) set me up for every transition moving forward. There is something ineffably valuable about having someone else create these assets for you — I’m not being braggy; you are! I’m not sharing this brilliant through line; you saw it and are clarifying it. I cannot necessarily see the connections in my own story, but you were able to make them manifest. For women, especially, who have been taught to be humble and not crow about our achievements, this exercise and your ability to knit it all together into a coherent (and impressive) narrative has given me the freedom to truly put my best foot forward. Thank you!!
