Care .com took money for background fine then charged me for 6 months premium then, I decided to stay with my current job, and downgrade to regular, then they suspend my account, after talking the money, and no refund.

Difficult to find quick coverage with cold season. Lots of last minute cancellations, and in the short time span 2-3 days, don’t have time to do all the call interviews. Also a lot of people wanted to text or get paid outside of care because of care’s fee. Which is then confusing because it seems like you have secured coverage when really, they can just cancel whenever before the agreed date.

While I have found a couple of good caregivers on Care.com, my dad and I were charged over $600 for a subscription in 2024. That is ridiculous! When I reached out to customer service to inquire about the charges, I was simply told we were not overcharged, and they closed the case before resolving my concern. They did this twice. That is not acceptable. Never again, Care.com. Sorry.

Care.com offers a basic service but if you do not upgrade to a Premium account that costs $38/mo you can not review caregivers or send them messages. They say the take medicaid but all the caregivers thru them are self pay. Waste of my time!!!

It would be nice that the caregivers would not be on the site if they are already busy or employed have reached out to several and couple them said they already have people to take care of and others that they’re going to school

Both people I tried to contact didn't show up. One was even a premium member with past history. The other three I contacted didn't even provide a response. It's been well over 24 hours since I sent messages. I'm very disappointed in the quality of applicants.

Though we found help through care.com, we paid for the unlimited background check option. We tried to use it twice, and it failed without an explanation of why. Customer care chat was unwilling to investigate the problem and insisted on a stock "try again or call sterling / id.me to resolve" answer. Do not recommend the purchase of background checks through Care.com. Update: Care.com has issued a refund for the Background Check subscription. So I am a bit happier.

The booking is not showing that I marked her for hire. So on her end it looks like the booking was not confirmed. Please help.
