UPDATE ::: after submitting my complaint care .com disenrolled me ( which I never requested ) and then i suddenly started receiving multiple requests for the job I had posted ! Never ever did I receive such a response ! NUTS 11 plus applicants suddenly want to know about the job I’ve looked for care for my mother . I interviewed many caregivers to find the right fit . The first one - came about 5x took her Xmas bonus and never came back siting a family issue . The second one came and left after 2 visits and never came back again siting a family issue . It was not a difficult job. Also we had to reach out to the both of them to see about their supposed return - we are very active in my moms care . My advice is stay alert and be proactive ! STAY INFORMED AND BE PRESENT Also all the reviews under the caregivers are only postive ones I have never seen anything less than 5 stars - this is impossible - they apparently don’t post those . Horrible experience to date

I signed up for Care.com - paid the $124 membership. Searched for caregivers for a senior. Sent messages to several people, but didn't receive any timely responses. Most of the caregivers didn't respond at all. The couple that did were not available. Money wasted. I called Care.com for a refund two different times, but received an email stating that I will not receive a refund. I had to find a caregiver on my own - NOT thru Care.com. Huge disappointment!!!

What went wrong? It would be easier to say what went right, because the answer would be "nothing." I never got contacted for anything. And sometimes when I saw something I wanted, I got sent to a blank page OR job already taken OR there are 25 applicants for this position, etc. Six months like this. And good luck trying to unsubscribe, which I have tried over 10 times and they keep sending me notifications anyway. Don't believe all the fake positive reviews on their website, which I'm sure they made up!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

Lindsey confirmed she was free and available for a same day booking to babysit my two kids. I accepted her for the position, then gave her my phone number and asked that she contact me so I could send her my address. She never responded, and has still not followed up to apologize or offer any explanation 3 days later.

Updated: In response to Care.com’s reply, I can 100% confirm that the auto renew DOES NOT send an email to warn you of an upcoming renewal. Nor does the cancellation button send any kind of confirmation of cancellation. I’ll stand by my words that this is a scam. How about comment regarding the ZERO carers in my area yet still be happy to have an infinite subscription in place. This is a scam. No carers in my area. No one replies to ads. Then when you try to cancel a subscription it doesn’t work. I’ve just been billed again for another 3 month subscription that I thought was cancelled and customer care say they can’t do anything. Wish I had checked these reviews before subscribing but maybe I can save some others!!!

I am a licensed care giver, a client was doing things that I didnt feel comfortable with so when I had the chance I left hoping for no hard feelings because she was a revengeful person. she made unfounded claims in which I was never shown or told about but banned, but before I was they told other clients I was untrusting. by law that is discrimination. wouldnt use them again.

It's too expensive and the premium doesn't really help, they are just stealing the people's money. And their customer care is horrible. I have used them for over 2 months and I was only able to get one job. Would not recommend.

i was trying not to give them a 1 star they have zero stars there customer service sucks they it’s so hard to get in touch the only thing you can do is send a message and they don’t reply back they cancel my account that i just paid for for reasons unknown smh
