System does not allow me to reach out unless I signup for a monthly cost. Just wanted to find a cleaner, not go through this hassle. I would give a negative number if possible. Feel this is a scam.

Avoid it like poison. What went wrong? Everything. The online chat woman could not understand English; called me confused, wanted my account information but SHE refused to understand that I wrote in the chat "I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH CARE.COM" -They posted an AD without my authorization, then wanted $19.95 or so for me to be able to read applicants applications. -CANNOT TRUST those are real applicants.

THE WORST SERVICE. I CANNOT SEND MESSAGES TO PEOPLE. AN ERROR APPEARS WHICH SAYS TO CONTACT CARE.COM WITH AN EMAIL ADDRESS. I HAVE EMAILED SEVERAL TIMES OVER SEVERAL WEEKS WITHOUT RESPONSE AND THEY HAVE STOLEN MY MONEY. NO OTHER WAY TO CONTACT.

Horrible experience blocked my account with no explanation Update: I asked them to review my account they gave no explanation (they just posted the below because of the review) they didn't actually fix anything. Use babysits.com instead.

Please don’t waste your money. I had an account for over a year and never found the first caregiver. I interviewed one person and hired her to start the next day. When she came in the 1st day she told me that she really wasn’t a caregiver but only a housekeeper. Don’t waste your time or your money.

I never had a service. I canceled on the website because I didn't want to lose $15.00 they didn't see my cancelation they claim and billed me $71.00. I'm a sick woman but I could tell this was a scam operation. Care is not a good name for this business. Don't even try it. You will get burned probably for more then $71 and they don't CARE you were never serviced.

Deceptive charges for monthly and annual fees. Then no straight answers to fix it. Dishonest.

Hello Care.com; I am a really angry customer and I am posting anywhere people will listen. I subscribed on 3/9/2025 and paid $40, and created the profile under me (Scott Ives). I tried to change the screen name to my wife and I and it did not save, but when my wife tried to log into the app it said we needed to verify; this has been almost as long as we have had the subscription. I never logged out of my phone so I still had access but I found and hired a nanny and wanted to use home care for the pay part but I can’t use it because I have to log in again to Care.com. Today I found I could chat and got to chat with Allen C. Who told me I needed to wait so I asked for a number I can talk to a person and he said “you can find the number on your statement”, and I informed him it’s through Apple and I did not see it, he again repeated its on the statement. I ask “so you are refusing to give me a number to your company”, and he said he can’t but it’s on the statement. After 30 minutes and me asking for a number, Allen C said he would escalate it so someone will call me. I have a spam blocker so I cannot be sure I will receive the call and I will be in the same situation.
