BAIT AND SWITCH, but for me too late. Nowhere do they say that there is a monthly fee, until you try to respond to a message from a caregiver. I usually check websites before applying but thinking it is about the elderly care and should be honest, I created a profile. I try to delete but could not. Tried to change the information, still could not. I cancelled, but will see.

Not a good service, its a money racket. They are charging me to do a background check and then they are charging each individual that wants to see that I had a background check money also!!! What a scam!!! Do not recommend!!!

Avoid this website. You sign up and they allow you post a job without paying their fee and it collects applications but you cannot view them or respond unless you pay. Its not fair for the individuals applying and not fair to the consumer. It's a bad product and is clearly trying to take advantage of its users by putting them in a higher pressure situation.

There is literally NO ONE to speak with regarding any concerns. I was continually looped with FAQ responses an directed to FAQ site. I'm sure caregivers and care seekers are fed up, like me! If you have an issue and like chasing your tail, your in the right spot...

Horrible customer support. They will blame you for everything. Then bury fees. Yes, they are buried in the TOS, but they are unwilling to help with anything. DO NOT USE!!!

This is a terrible service. I had several caregivers accept a job and then not show up and/or stop responding to messages to explain/set up the job. I finally found an excellent, diligent caregiver, and Care.com charged my credit card and then didn't pay her. Will not use again.

absolute crooks who do not tell you their US site requires you to be in the US until you verify your account. Now I can not use the account and i still have to pay. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Very concerning on many levels. As a sitter, they are now App-only, which means regulators will have a harder time holding them accountable, as they don't have a website. They prevented me from posting my full credentials, trying to "lessen competition" by stripping my resume of all the other places I'd worked - not letting me say the agency by name. They clearly don't step in at all or have any support if families need to be reported for abuse. Like many other sitter sites, they will still let families review you & potentially retaillate if you report them. Most concerning as a sitter, they send you emails saying you can earn up to $200 (for example) at a gig, but then you find out they plan to keep 25% or more of your pay as their fee. Which is disgraceful. We are skilled, empathetic care providers, not some workhorse for a corporate overlord. We deserve a decent standard of living too.
