People don't respond to inquiries and I question the vetting. For example, one person's profile has Meryl Streep for their picture. Prices are not accurate. I had someone come out for cleaning an apartment that is less than 950 sq ft. Actual price was $40/hr not the $28/hr advertised on care.com, and the person could not speak English. Other people don't respond to inquiries.

MISLEADING - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I signed up for a month of the premium after being shown that I had loads of messages from potential candidates for a role I was hiring for but I couldn't view without paying. This was completely misleading as once I paid these were matches and not one single message. I did not receive any potential candidates in the month then I was charged again even though I very clearly only signed up for 1 month. The customer service team refused to refund this even though it was misleading. Terrible, terrible experience and an expensive one too!

The individuals who are shown on the home page as looking for positions don't seem to actually be interested, as I have contacted many of them and never received a response. I have connected with two. One came the first time and then cancelled so many times that I gave up. The second didn't come when scheduled the first time and then the next time said she would send her sister. The chat function is basically useless. I waited for 22 minutes before speaking to a representative when I placed a phone call. I am so disappointed in care.com. I thought it was going to be a good resource for finding help. I think it is just a scam and they refuse to issue a refund. Avoid this trap.

It’s nearly impossible to speak to anyone actual person from the company, there is no phone number to call & the AI chat doesn’t work. I’ve had SEVERAL issues with sitters I’ve hired, they hire incompetent sitters on the app and they also charge a ridiculous amount for the subscription to use the app. My children have been neglected, sitters have decided to leave during their sitting times, sitters have been booked and just don’t show up or respond to calls/texts/messages. and there is no customer service to help. I do not recommend anybody uses this to find any type of care for your family members, I’m disgusted with this company.

What a terrible experience. I needed help with transportation and care for a colonoscopy. One person cancelled at the last minute and I had to reschedule. The other ones never responded. DO NOT pay for a subscription. You can cancel and they continue to bill and make it almost impossible to stop your subscription online.

Total scam and useless site. They charged me even though I cancelled my membership from this useless service. They refused to give me a refund for this unauthorised payment. Customer Service is pathetic. You can't get a job even if you buy the most expensive membership. Total waste of money and time. Shame on these people.

I have used Care.com several times in the past trying to find a decent caregiver. No one reads the job listing, they say they have experience and they DO NOT! Now I am receiving messages from job applicants and when I respond back, I never hear anything more from them. Obviously, they are not receiving my replies! Also, why does just about every senior caregiver also have a profile in childcare?? This is like a scam!! What is going on????

One of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Customer service has never, not once, replied to direct emails. And none of the family job listings are vetted for accuracy-90% give full time hours stating something like ‘Monday through Saturday 9-7’ and then the description is ‘babysitter needed a couple hours a day a couple times a week.’ Why isn’t anyone monitoring job postings to make sure they reflect information that is actually helpful for the person looking? I can’t believe I wasted time signing up, gave personal identification information for a background check and paid for a membership for such garbage. Canceling immediately.
