Extra subscription charges even after cancelling membership and there is no way to contact customer service either via phone or email. It’s a scam!

I wanted to board my cat for 10 days. The two responses I received were puzzling: one was a traveling caregiver who wanted to house sit (not safe) and the other was an hour away who charged $88 per night. I contacted Care within 24 hours to cancel and they REFUSED to refund my money. The form letter I received from Care didn't even pertain to my situation. Their site pushes you into signing up. The fees pop up on every page no matter what you're searching for. I expected more from Care! BEWARE, they want your money without providing the service you expect.

They canceled my membership/account before I was able to use it, but did take my money from my credit card. What kind of business is this? Throughout trying to register the platform I was clear and was in contact with the customer service being very open and clear that I was trying to set op care for my elderly family in the USA while i am abroad. If this is a problem, why didn't the customer service rep. Immediately say this was not possible , they let me make a payment and only after I tried to reach out for the very urgent nursing care my family needs and a ID check was being done , the subscription was cancelled via email message with no information on how I was going to be reimbursed! Then after the cancellation email came they still deducted the reserved ammount from my account. It all feels like a scam!!!

This company takes money no one that applied for job will respond or doesnt want job and no refunds for using less than 2 weeks seems like a scam

This website is horrible. You can't talk to anyone. They close my account with no explanation! They get family that are scam artists who don't want to pay you and scam you out of your job. The website doesn't work at times. They have a weak and very insecure website that scam artists can get your personal information. I wouldn't recommend this website to my worst enemy!

No help whatsoever after trying to receive a response on not being able to sign in, was told to create an account again and start over, not only would it not let me do this, but clearly shows I have an account I can't access after being told they removed me from the system. A phone number for help listed on the website only leads to a robot instructing you to go to the website to have your questions answered and then hangs up. In the meantime, I can see multiple missed opportunities arriving in my email saying that I have a potential job to respond to within 12 hours,,, impossible. Nothing but a log in loop constantly with no end in sight. I hope people are not paying money for an extremely poor excuse of a company that should not be allowed in business.

They charged me to do a background check and upgrade my profile for additional views. I’ve been applying to tons of jobs and not a single response accept for someone trying to scam me! Awful awful AWFUL!!!! Do not give your money to care.com!!! It’s a scam!!!

Please do your research and do not use this site! Absolutely a scam! Charged me $39 month (thought I was paying for 1 month, but it was a subscription that I had to cancel) I needed someone to take my dad for an outpatient appt because I was traveling, and the VA said that they couldn't provide transportation. Only one person responded to my request after sending multiple requests, which left me with just one option. Those who applied were not qualified due to the time restraints or they had bad reviews. I asked for a refund within a few days and was told there is a no refund policy. Also in fine print it states that it is our responsibility to vet the applicants. What??? Then what am I paying for??? Just another company trying to make money to do nothing, creating a website and charging you to use it with no results.
