I signed up to look for a housekeeper, creating account and paying for a month of service. After creating the account, I played a game of chess and immediately got an e-mail that my account was closed. I had not had any activity on the site yet, but they closed my account within 20 minutes of joining. Customer service took 3 days to respond and gave no reason as to why they just took my money.

This company continued to charge my account after canceling my service without providing a refund. The supervisor did not grant a refund after reviewing my account, which was incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Some how, this business has gotten hold of my debit details and has been charging me a monthly fee for a service I have never signed up for and do not want or need. Trying to get hold of them to stop the payment is a nightmare. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THEM TOTAL SCAM.

Actual service provided was very mediocre. Loaded with tire kickers. Not the reason for my negative review. I had gone onto the website to cancel the recurring subscription and the website seemed to work. In hindsight, I never received a confirmation email, but they refused to refund any money whatsoever. I also pointed out that there was no activity from the time I had tried to cancel to present supporting my claim. They do not let you speak with a supervisor.

TOTAL SCAM!!! I only needed a caregiver for one day which I found within my one month. I posted for one month ahead of my date and received an email stating my posting will remain active until May 24th. Care.com continued to charge my credit card for 4 months after that and refused to refund my money. They claim that the email they sent to me is a bit confusing and it didn't mean my subscription was cancelled, as I needed to "personally cancel". BEWARE of their misleading business practices!

Absolutely a Scam – Avoid Care.com at All Costs I deeply regret ever signing up for Care.com. This platform is nothing short of a scam, and I strongly urge everyone to think twice before even entering your credit card information. The website advertised one rate, but I was charged TEN TIMES that amount. The signup process is intentionally vague, clearly designed to trick people into subscribing without understanding the full cost. And once you've been charged? Good luck getting your money back. Even if you never used the service, and the subscription was purchased by mistake, they will outright refuse to refund you.

Very disappointed as to how they did not properly serve me as a cleint who had paid into the services they have provided. I was removed from the app without explanation when I’d never had any issues whatsoever do ever from using this app for at least 2 years but all of a sudden I get an email out of nowhere that my account was removed and they cannot further tell me why . Even I waited 2 years to try back to we what the problem could be they email me the same excuses which didn’t make sense , when I had been a verified customer the entire situation should have been properly handled but it was mishandled and my money was taken and still no reason why I had not been allowed back on. And you all are saying the account may have been closed because likely it didn’t meet the requirements? How is this when I was an active member without any problems for over a year. same account no changes . On my end done to not meet requirements I’d already been abiding by .. It was just one day I was just removed by you all “ without explanation “ . That’s unacceptable.

Care.com is a company that I will forever advise people against using. They don’t provide a safe service or really any service. They make you feel like they vet out the potential hires but they actually have no way of proving that the person info who’s applying is the same person that will show up to your house.
