Few if any callbacks from my outbound communication to administrative assistant applicants
See above
I was NOT looking for a cleaning lady
The administrative assistant callbacks or emails or texts were aodt nonexistent although there were many who DID receive my info from your site

They all disappear or never show for interview!!
it was my second time in two years looking for s babysitter/ nanny here and the few that actually show up for an interview ( the others say they will never even call to cancel) they make a commitment then quit after the first paycheck !! It's like desperate women looking through make quick money for who know what...or the competition it's so much they quit cause a smaller house with less kids offering the same money ? Just like online dating they always looking for someone better and so on, no traces of commitment cause they know there's always a next ...

Dont like care.com
Im very unhappy with the unavailability of care providers and their inability to read what i needed before applying. More features should be available to test out before you pay the so called free account dont help you see if people are good or not. I feel like i wasted my money because i ended up hiring someone from craigslist instead

dissapointed
Well first i thought i had entered a promo code or had been given an offer saying i would recieve a free 30-day trial and a few days after enrolling i learned i was charges so my trust shrunk back.
What really set if off was the fact a lady named Aileen or something contacted me through here and i had her come over to the house to clean. She showed up with a Grandkid and told me she wasn't here to work today but to get paid? It didn't make any sense and she was so rude at one point i was like look, you can leave.
I guess from a company called "care.com" i expected a little more. i am not saying you are a bad company. I am sure there are thousands of fans but my experience has left me wishing you cared enough to give me a refund

Need to screen people
I don't think it's Care.coms fault, however I've only had negative experiences with the nannies that I have interacted with on here. I've had one nanny that I hired completely flake out meaning she just never showed up when it came time for her work for me and me to go back to work, so that was great. Then I've had 4 people just not show up to interviews and 3 cancelations. I think there should be some sort of penalty from care.com if your a caregiver and you act irresponsible with people relying on you. Needless to say, for how much were paying for our membership, I would have just as much luck on a free website. Definitely canceling my membership. I've heard UrbanSitter was really goo, maybe I'll have better luck on there.

Under-experienced and overpriced
I interviewed several people from this site and finally gave up. Everyone I spoke to had very little experience and had a hugely inflated idea about what their services were worth.

Care.com was a waste of time
I contacted 12 individuals from the Care.com website. Even when using the website email/calling during times listed on the site, only 3 of the individuals responded. One indicated she wanted the job, but did not present for the interview with no explanation, one did a phone interview and accepted the position, but did not show the first day of work. After 2 weeks she called and said she decided to leave town and sell her mother's house instead. The third said she had not expected someone to call "so soon" and that she was in the hospital with a problem pregnancy and unable to work.
It seems there is no screening of the people on the website. Also, the website claimed background checks/other information would be provided upon request. Each time I attempted to get this information, I received a "no information available" message.

Complete waste of time, money, and mental effort.
Complete waste of time, money, and mental effort. I thought that I would find reputable and responsible people who care about kids and are reliable, but that is not the case. What I found is people who don't respond, are not courteous, have a sense of entitlement, and who think they should make more money than I do (and I have two degrees). I firmly believe in overpaying good babysitters, but cannot possibly pay more than I make, AND could not possibly hire anyone who is not responsible, reliable, courteous, and respectful. Complete waste of my time, money, and a drain on my mental effort.
