hey offer you the option of a 1month trial and they sneak in the email registration that they will renew your registration automatically. What's the point of a month registration if they automatically renew it without sending you a notice before doing so? They just stoll $200 from me because a $40/month, you do not notice it right away. I am very disappointed. this commercial behavior is the sign of a company trying to get money out of you and it is against my conception of business. Shame on them.

Care.com er blevet en helt igennem lusket hjemmeside. Jeg er forarget. Før i tiden benyttede jeg Care.com og fik herigennem skabt mig et par kontakter, som jeg passede dyr for. Nu er jeg der, hvor jeg godt ville skabe nye kontakter. Jeg går ind og opdager så, at det nu koster penge at henvende sig til dem, som mangler hjælp. Det synes jeg selvfølgelig er lidt ærgerligt, men fair nok. Jeg betaler pengene og går i gang med at lede efter jobopslag. Her opdager jeg, at Care.com på forhånd har udvalgt for mig, hvilke jobs jeg må ansøge. Det betyder, at jeg kan søge 5 jobs. Før i tiden kunne man søge ALLE jobs på hjemmesiden. Jeg skriver til kundeservice og spørger, om det kan passe, at man skal betale for at henvende sig og om det kan passe, at de vælger hvilke jobs jeg kan søge. Jeg får hurtigt svar, men til gengæld bliver jeg blot henvist til betingelserne. I betingelserne står der INTET om disse to forhold. At ikke engang kundeservice kan svare ærligt, viser jo, at systemet med vilje er lavet uigennemskueligt og kundeservice har fået at vide oppefra, at de ikke må besvare spørgsmål. Jeg er så vred over, at jeg har betalt de 99 kr. Ikke fordi det er mange penge, men fordi jeg har støttet en omgang klamphuggeri.

Man kan ikke engang slette sin konto.

Care.com er et decideret svindlerforetagende. Det fremgår ikke af deres hjemmeside, at man selv skal finde den hjælp man har behov for. At de så yderligere tager penge for at man selv skal gøre arbejdet, det er for groft. Ydermere fremgår det ikke af deres hjemmeside, at det er et fortløbende abonnement man melder sig til. Tænk vi var så naive at tro, at de penge man betalte, var løn til den person som de sendte til os. Ydermere, når man så vil gøre brug af den lovpligtige 14 dages fortrydelsesret, så hører man intet fra firmaet. Vi har nu valgt at spærre betalingskortet og få et nyt, så skal vi da kun betale den 1. gang. Konklusion: Hold jer endelig væk fra denne svindlerside. I bliver taget i r....

Brugerfladen var enorm dårlig. Det var svært at få kontakt til relevante ansøgere. Når man købte medlemskab for 1 måned, stod det med meget små bogstaver i betingelserne at det i virkeligheden var et fortløbende abonnement. Dette blev tilmed skjult ved at man kun fik servicemails den første måned, hvorefter man intet hørte fra Care.com mens de fortsatte med at hæve penge hver måned:(

People looking for caring work / jobs don't have a lot of money , people / families looking for carers don't have a lot of money If the subscription feature was fairer ( I nearly signed up for one month and presumed I would be paying literally just for one month like it is 100% worded ) and if the free option was of any use at all I would have stayed and possibly used the site to advertise my services as a special needs childrens carer specialising in Autism in SW11 but I need to have complete confidence in the company I am using and all the bad experiences I have seen means I have been warned and will steer clear which is a pity but having no direct or reachable contact number , no one responding directly on Facebook to complaints and no real way of contacting this company properly is a big NO NO in my book for any company I use If someone can suggest an alternative company which is not a rip of off and has good customer care across the board I will sign up as have been approved as a foster carer and have previously been a registered childminder and have current DBS and First Aid certificate but it is a pity that good quality special needs carers are going to waste on here because we cannot commit ourselves to a company who treats it's customers this way and the payment scheme is just downright unscrupulous no matter what the response from this company is!

Like so many, I signed up for a month. Then I come to find out that I've been charged a monthly fee for a service I didn't use. I lost hundreds of dollars that could have been going to my daughter's education. Care.com will trot out the standard response telling you that there is an opportunity to opt out...blah blah blah. They clearly don't care as they are making millions off of unsuspecting customers. They know they are scamming folks but don't have the guts like any reputable company would and refund people their money. They offered me one month refund. What a joke! They know exactly what they are doing and could a flying you know what about you. Get a conscious Care.com - do the right thing instead of hiding behind your small print. And spare me the typical sugary response that I can contact your customer service center.

Care.com has a fatal flaw that should be enough to steer anyone away. They will sell you a discounted service, be it for 1 month or 3 or 12. Then they will automatically enroll you in a much higher price tier. There's no option to opt out of this automatic enrollment. They will not notify you of your original term having expired. They will not send you monthly notices that you're being charged (despite their system having the ability to do so). They simply tell you at the initial signing that this is their practice and give you no option to opt out. The inevitable result is that people find out within some period of months that they're being charged for a product they're not using. Care.com will refuse to refund you. Read the reviews on this and other sites and even on BBB and you'll see hundreds of similar complaints, yet they refuse to fix it. This happened to us, and we don't want it to happen to anyone else. This billing practice is a profit center for Care.com. they make money by ripping off their customers I'm this way. Companies like this should be run out of town.
