Went to this site to find someone to care for my cats while on vacation. received 4 responses but could not respond unless I paid $38 to upgrade to a premium account. The nice thing about being a 35-year retired military member is when I write to my Governor or my Congressmen I always get a personalized reply, not a standard copy-and-paste reply. I have already sent off information to the State Consumer Affairs Office and to my members of Congress. This company is nothing more than a scam with the way it is set up.

Is inderdaad echt af te raden. Geld wordt gewoon van rekening gehaald en je kan niet meer aanmelden. Of paswoord vernieuwen ik geraak er niet meer in mijn profiel om abonnement af te zeggen. Echt af te raden. Reactie op antwoord van care.com: Ik heb helaas geen e-mail met nieuw paswoord ontvangen. Ik had ook tweemaal via contactcenter met jullie contact opgenomen maar nog geen antwoord gekregen. Ik heb heb ook geen terugstorting gekregen. Jullie hebben wel mijn correcte mail adres denk ik want de e-mail ivm GDPR heb ik van jullie wel goed ontvangen. Hoe kunnen we dit zo snel mogelijk afhandelen ? Mvg Isabelle

USED to be a great site....now its all about the money....money for them by charging both parties using the site .shady billing pratices and no customer support. Sad.

Parents or babysitters- this is a scam site that got famous. In the age of Uber n Airbnb this site charges hefty amounts from parents and babysitters just for introduction- not to mention fake background checks that is criminal and ultra-risky. I am a parent and the quality of baby-sitters is very shady. There may have been a time quality would be their winning point. Today it is full of drunkards, dropouts, fugitives and minimum wage workers who kind find work in NY due to criminal history or laziness. Nevertheless lack of hygiene and disease prone baby-sitters. And they are looking to paid price points of software engineers. Not that they shouldnt be employed but the info should be transparent plus not at these price points. Burger flippers are not baby-sitters. It is a professional industry of responsibility, respect and repute. You entrust your most valuable and dear children. Care.com must be shut down immediately. I will report them everywhere- they blocked my account after I reported an abusive baby-sitter.

poor support, they have no knowledge and they don't know how to behave with customers.
