Signed up for Care.com for a one-time payment to contact carers. The site barely works, messages constantly refresh and I couldn’t read or send messages. Despite cancelling my account, they charged me again without my consent and refused to refund me. They hide recurring charges, don’t provide services as promised, and make it nearly impossible to delete your information. Terrible, misleading, unethical, and frustrating experience. Avoid this site!

The caregiver accidentally confirmed the appointment but didn't notify Care.com. I have been attempting to get my refund without response from Care.com. I was left without a caregiver which is terrible customer service.

Scam website. I signed up for this once, never used it and then they raised rates and billed my credit card a year later. I attempted to cancel and they refused to refund. STAY AWAY, FRAUD, SCAM.

I subscribed for only 3 months, and a year later I realize they kep charging me every 3 months for the past year. I haven't even logged in. They are the worst, DONT EVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO TO THIS COMPANY. The internet is littered with hundreds of families who have been tasken advantage of in the same way, They have NO EXCUSE.

Avoid Care.com — misleading and disappointing experience I signed up for a subscription with Care.com, and it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The service doesn’t work as advertised. It’s marketed as unlimited, but the included background check is practically useless — they charge extra for any meaningful screening. On top of that, you’re asked to pay additional fees to “promote” your listing, and they even tack on service fees when you try to hire someone. They also advertise their plan as cancel anytime, which is not true. If you pay for a year upfront, you’re locked in — no refunds, no cancellations. When I reached out for help, they refused to cancel or provide any refund. Overall, the experience felt deceptive and unfair. I strongly recommend avoiding Care.com unless they make serious changes to their business practices.
