Total con-trick. Avoid at all costs. Signed up to this website whilst looking for an au pair. The prices were a bit steep, but I assumed (wrongly) that you get what you pay for. Signed up for a month to give it a try, during which it transpires there were no candidates listed in my home city, which rendered the service as good as useless to me. To add insult to injury I was then automatically debited the next month's subscription of £50 from my card. When I contacted customer services, they just hid behind the excuse that it was all within their T's & C's. That is no doubt the case from a legal stand-point, but it's morally dubious and smacks of smart practise and doesn't imply a legitimate business.

As stated in our Terms of Use Care.com is an automatically renewing subscription service and it is ultimately the member’s responsibility to downgrade their subscription or contact us for assistance once through using the service. The same information is stated twice on the upgrade page when you had initially signed up. Moreover, that is a setting you can edit at any point after upgrading in your Account & Setting page by selecting the Downgrade option.
