I'd give 0 stars if I could . I was hired by a lady that scammed me out of $180. She made me drive to her house early in the morning to accuse me of going through her mail &' personal records/files . She then reported me , got my account closed down &' never paid me. Care.com doesn't care about it's employees. They don't look into accusations that are made &' they REFUSE to tell you why you account is closed. So if you're young .. Don't use this service. You'll only get scammed.

They cheated me for 900 dollars , do not ever transfer money to somebody from CARE.COM

you have to become a member to message people. don't even believe they were real people

Onbetrouwbare website met onduidelijke informatie! Ik had mij vorige maand ingeschreven voor 1 maand maar kwam gisteren tot de vaststelling dat mijn rekening automatisch voor een extra maand werd gecrediteerd aan een hogere prijs. Ik heb nergens melding gekregen dat dit zou gebeuren. Ondanks Belgisch telefoonnummer op de website is niemand beschikbaar. Uiteindelijk telefonisch contact gehad met Duitsland om mijn abonnement te annuleren, Dus opletten dat je zelf annuleerd, ondanks je kiest voor slechts een bepaalde periode.

I needed a chemistry and math tutor for my high schooler and paid for a premium membership specifically to be able to reach out to a tutor what claimed to be a student of a prestegious private univeristy and that she tutored college students in chemistry. This sounded impressive to me and that's why I paid for a premium membership at care.com. When I emailed the tutor, she revealed to me that she had not tutored chemistry for some time and no longer felt confident turoring a high school student enrolled in AP Chemistry. I only sent one email on the website, then called the member center to request a refund since they advertised a tutor that could not provide the service her bio indicated she would easily be able to. They did not refund me, said that I had agreed to their terms. Their terms include the fact that they do not fact check any claims made by care providers. What a scam.

avoid at all costs. they don't let you cancel, or remove a credit card. Ability to remove credit card grayed out. If the card expires, they contact card company (Not you) for updated info. once you cancel, after a year it pops up again on your bill. This is a predatory billing service, like the gym you join but won't let you quit and makes mistakes to keep billing you

Unfortunately because care.com will not let its sitters respond without setting up a paid account we were unable to get any responses for 2mo. Sorry but if you are taking $62 mo from me you dont need the sitter to pay as well. People can see your ad, apply for your ad but not respond to your messages. Its a horrible business model not in the least interested in setting up families with caring, responsible individuals.

CONSUMER BEWARE! EVEN IF YOU SIGN UP FOR A ONE MONTH PLAN, THEY CONTINUE YOUR PLAN WITHOUT LETTING YOU KNOW AND WILL BILL YOUR CREDIT CARD EVERY MONTH. This is not explained to you when you sign up but appears in mumbo jumbo of their agreement. You have to make customers aware of this UP FRONT and not hide it in your legal docs. THIS IS FRAUD. I joined for only one month and they billed me for six. They said their "company policy" is to only credit for one month. That is bull. Fight them through your credit card company and if that does not work, contact Better Business Bureau or other authorities. They should not be able to get away with this fraudulent practice. THEY ARE CROOKS. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE.
