If you're looking for occasional work or trying to get your teen a babysitting job - do not use this site! Takes a long time to get posts approved, they delete your account without warning (claiming it's a business - when it's not). It's apparently against their rules for a mom to post her teen is looking for work, that you attend the first babysitting job (these are strangers after all) and claim you need a business account when you're strictly looking for date night/weekend work. The stupidity with these "professionals" is a joke. You're better off getting work on a Facebook group page!

Ten tweede is het onvindbaar om het op te zeggen via mijn eigen account. Erg irritant!!! Duidelijke instructies zouden gewaardeerd worden...

Care.com has the worst website I have ever encountered. It seems to have been designed on purpose to frustrate prospective customers. I have spent an hour trying to find the job I posted a couple weeks ago so that I could change the terms, but no way can I find it. If I knew of a better way to look for senior aids I would certainly go elsewhere. This website is terrible -- they need a lot more competition. If you possibly can, stay away from this horrible service. I give them an F-Minus!

Edit: after much searching online it is easily recognised that this company is reputable only for fraud and theft. They respond on these comments with no follow up and only to trick new people into thinking issues are resolvable. Search them online before signing up. THOUSANDS HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS I HAVE!! DO NOT SIGN UP!! This site is a total waste of money and despite signing up for a one month payment at the extortionate rate of £29, they auto rebill. Surely, if I’d of wanted a longer service, I’d of bloody signed up to one in the first place for a cheaper cost! No one replies, fake profiles, so many scammers, don’t waste your money.

We signed up for 1 month of service in September 2017. It is now February 202 and they are still taking $27.06 from our bank account every month. Our care.com accounts have been deleted. There is no contact information on their web-site. We had to google their phone number, but no one will answer or call us back. So far, they have taken $730.62 from us and counting. User beware of this company.

I just opened my business account on care.com. It seems they don’t even have app for business accounts and offered to carry computer or tablet to get leads. They also refused to refund my money. They are still in 20th century. So unprofessional and unfair

After having a care.com account for 10 years, (w excellent client reviews, and a 5-star rating), and finding numerous senior care jobs through them, my account was suddenly closed. In 10 years, only one customer complained because I told them that doing full house-cleaning was not a part of what caregivers duties are. (light housecleaning, yes...but not daily deep-cleaning,mopping, windows, etc) The next day, my profile, and account were closed, and customer service said they could not reveal why, nor could they re-open. I asked to have the case escalated to a manager, and was told that someone would call me the next day. Instead, I received an email saying that my account would not be reopened, end of story. Then, I researched and found all the horrible stories about how they treat both clients and caregivers. I was shocked. This is my livelihood....and they don't even care one bit. They are a $116Million/yr company, and won't even review complaints to make sure they are real. Sadly- so many people are affected by this way of doing online "business", and there are no laws to protect the customer.

One star rating is too good for this rubbish site. I've been looking for a job constantly and have a lot of experience but never received any response. I sent an email asking what the problem was but of course, no response. Glad I never gave into their pay to increase your chances scam.
