I used them for two school years! Never in the summer
This company I used for about three years. I found regular people who decided they wanted to do childcare for a living. You do have to screen theses people. I had three nannies from them and only one nanny was worth the money. The other two were horrible disrespect crazy people. I work unconventional hours so my needs were different. I only needed care for 1 hour on Friday and 45 minutes on Monday and Tuesday. I paid $250 for less than 4 hours of work and the woman I got was a mental crazy person. I pay way more for the job because I want my children well taken care of. She wanted me to pay her when my kids we’re out of school on break if they miss school summer vacation holiday pay for a part time position that only 250 for less than 4 hours a week. I told her I needed more hours covered and before I get someone else I wanted to offer her the hours. She stated she couldn’t do the hours so I said ok. I explained I need these hours covered and that I’m going to post a new job on care.com for a new nanny. I gave her a two week notice because I’m not paying for two nannies. This chick I’m being nice calls me after I posted the new hours and started going off on me about posting the job. Lol she told me I owe her 6 weeks of pay even if she don’t work. When I finally got a chance to talk I told her I’m not paying you for time you don’t work for me. Your hours are not even real part time hours . You get paid way more than your suppose to and I told you i was posting the job for the new hours. She got mad and decided to contact Care.com on me. I don’t know what she said but they closed my account and gave me one opportunity to explain my side. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone ever. They are so unprofessional to have a worker to be so disrespectful ungrateful and completely crazy. I’m a business owner and if a worker ever had an issue I would hear both sides before I decide to say F the customer because of there disrespectful employee. I will be telling as many people as I can to keep people from going through what I went through. I was left with no nanny for two weeks. I have a job and a family to care for with a very busy and strict schedule so that little brief moment in time disrupted my flow. Do not Do not go with this place. A service you pay for to be treated like nothing. I work to hard for my money. You’d be better of going with a daycare center open for 24 hours. Oh and real quiet the 2nd girl I didn’t like only worked for two weeks because she tried to fight my 15 year old at the time. She was so angry for no reason. I hired her trying to help her out because she was a single mom working 24 hours a week for $160 a week. Figured this would be a great change of pace for her pocketbook and she had plenty of free time to do her. And I always pay my bill. I never ever miss a payment when it comes to the care of my kids. Care.com never ever ever nor did they care at all. Very unprofessional!
