If I could leave negative stars, I would. Not only were job listings outdated and I never got a position despite applying for everything and having a complete and qualified profile, but the only two people who did message me were soliciting me for sexual texting. This website is a joke, very poorly managed, and a waste of money and time.

They will literally steal money from you DO NOT USE THIS SITE. FRAUD!!!

Please please do not use this site. I did for a year, when all the sudden got charged a renewal fee, paid it, and they deleted my account that had several wonderful reviews, several jobs waiting to hear back on. This is the platform I kept for marketing my business, but after being charged, them deleting my account after taking my money I am now urging everyone to stay far away from them. I called my bank and am disputing the transaction and will get my money back, but not because the company was willing to give it back. I did ask them before calling the bank and they told me "no refunds." Also it's supposed to automatically charge your card once a year, and to cancel you have to cancel from within your account, which was now deleted, so they think they can keep my money and charge me yearly. Please dont spend your money with them!!

I used care.com several years ago to find a position and it worked well at the time. However, while trying to revisit the site to find my next family, I found that the site is no longer user friendly and there is no way to do anything on the site without paying. I want to look first and see if it’s worth my time, but now I’ll use someone else to assist me in my next steps.

AVOID THIS IS A MAJOR SCAM!! CARE.COM take a fee of £9.00 to allow you to message other people to register your interest in jobs and to message families. Following on from this you do not get a response from any families you have messages should you get a message you would have to re pay in order to look at the message. CARE.COM provided me with a number of a family which i contacted the lady required a clean background check which she then sent me a link for as she advised me a DBS check was not sufficient enough. Leading onto using the link she provided me via whatsapp this took me to a live chat which requested my personal details such as contact numbers,address, and my full bank details. Following on from this the live chat then asked me for a reference advising they needed another family members full card details. The person via whataspp kept on asking me if i had completed the background check they sent me. I seeked advise from a family member who is a qualified babysitter and was told this is a SCAM and to contact my bank immediately. My bank then confirmed a transaction had tried to be taken out of my account for over £300.00. I have made my bank and the police aware of this so this person and CARE.COM can be fully investigated. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!.

My wife is terminally ill, I needed help so I signed up. In 12 months only about 5 carers were local to me and NONE were available when I contacted them. They NEVER emailed me to say they were taking money from my card and I've now paid over £300 for NO care. Cowboys!

I'm so glad I read these reviews before spending any money. I just wanted to browse the site to see if it was what I was looking for, but you are pushed to make an account just to be able to explore the site. After joining, it automatically creates an ad for you, which is worrying. But the worst thing is that you have to pay if you want to use the site in any capacity - the messages I received were censored of any and all useful information, and I'd have to upgrade to premium to access them. That set alarm bells ringing, before I even had the chance to look at the exorbitant prices. I was even considering paying, but thought I'd better check here first. So glad I did! Account deleted!

Absolutely disappointed and at this point disgusted by the way this company operates and treats paying customers. Customer service is basically non existent and a total waste of time. On top of that they OVERchange auto renewal of accounts - despite proof of an approved upon cost at the time of sign up. Isn’t that illegal?! Then when you try to contact someone for help you are waiting an literally hour to speak to a representative that cannot solve the problem. I have only been on care.com for a month and already , due you so called “technical issues” I have had to spend over 5 hours total dealing with this ridiculously managed company. I just got off the phone with a rep, trying to again fix an issue that was originally reported and discussed 3 weeks ago. After 1.5 Hrs I was told they are still working on it! It’s been 3 weeks! I asked to speak to a manager and was told the process to speak to a manager is to email and request it. I have never dealt with a company like this. Care.com either needs to get with the program or should shut down. I really hope that another company comes around to give them some competition. At this point they have a monopoly, so paying customers just grin and bear it. My next move is to file a dispute with my credit card company and contact the BBB. That’s all we can do I guess.
