I used Encore Agency. Had a nice person but I slowly became aware she was in severe pain.. I took pictures of the lidocaine pads in her car and saw her taking Tylenol before I would have her carry heavy items. I sensed she had something going by not doing cleaning that put pressure on her body. She had bite in her speaking to me.. She was a really ethical woman.. I asked for someone else and they wanted me to stay with her or find another agency. There very polished but there ethics are not of proper standards.. I had to find a new agency because they would not work with me.. I documented her behavior and the pads and saw her taking the Tylenol’s.. They mistreated her they mistreated me.. You have to be careful with agencies on there care ethics for both..

Horrible billing practices. Tried several times to go on their mobile site and downgrade my subscription before being auto charged on 11/12. I wasn't sure if it accepted my request to downgrade or not as the site kept freezing. I noticed that I was charged for the premium membership and unlimited background checks ($59!) and called to explain that their site was down when I tried to cancel and get a refund. I was so sure that this was a reasonable request and would be granted, especially since the rep admitted that they can SEE your online activity. I stayed on the phone for 45 minutes of wasted time and my request was denied. I also emailed and received an obtuse and generic response. I was told to go in and submit yet another request through the website as the only remedy for my complaint and it took the rep about 5 full minutes to actually find where he was telling me to go himself because it is buried like a game of Where's Waldo. Absolutely hate this company and their refusal to be human with the consumer. All I heard "subscriptions are non-refundable." Well, that's cool especially when you make it very difficult to cancel that non-refundable subscription!

Helaas heb ik ook ervaren dat care.com geen aanrader is. Meermalen getracht mijn lidmaatschap op te zeggen en mijn account te laten verwijderen, maar geen enkele reactie of actie. Zojuist heb ik de automatischa bankincasso stopgezet.

Worst service ever. Waste of money

Købte en måned premium. Den er så blevet ved med at trække hver måned, selvom jeg kun købte én måned. Jeg prøvede flere gange at opsige mit medlemskab, men den blev ved at skrive, at der var sket en fejl, og at jeg skulle kontakte jer på mail.

SCAM. They allow carers to set their profiles to 'auto apply' so you get spammed with responses from people who haven't even seen your ad and who wouldn't be interested in it. They then assign a payment for the job THAT THEY HAVE MADE UP AND THAT YOU CANNOT EDIT. This meant that I any actual responses I had were expecting huge amounts of money for the job so wasted everybody's time. I quickly realised that the site was a scam and asked for my money back to which they replied, 'Unfortunately we cannot provide a refund as Care.com fees are non-refundable, which we also pointed out in your invoice. The premium fee allows families to communicate with carers and this feature is working for you.' Yeah, ok. So I can 'communicate' with bots, inactive profiles who have auto-applied and nannies who want 4x what I'm paying. How very useful. They also don't screen anything so lots of soliciting nudes etc. Just a dumpster fire of a business. Avoid at all costs and report them to ACCC and Fair Trading. I wish I had read reviews before signing up.

Report to police please so we can take down these criminals ASAP

The absolute worst. I signed up for a premium membership to test it out for a month. Did not read all of the information but they automatically subscribe you into an auto-renewing membership, which already is a terrible practice. I only signed up for a month. I got charged for it on Nov. 6th, 2020 and decided to ask them to cancel/a refund on Nov. 9th, 2020 (Monday). They told me they do not provide refunds. It's a global pandemic and many people are out of work. I can't afford to be losing $41 to a website I don't even like/want to use. They kept matching people up with me that didn't even fit the criteria I asked for. The customer service rep LOIS was absolute rude. I'm disputing this with my bank and hopefully they can give it back to me. My husband is still out of work, so I can't afford to lose out on this money.
