As previous posts, thought I was signed up for a 1 time payment. 3 months later I notice another charge. Went to their web-sight, and could not even logged in..Invalid user//e-mail was the message I kept getting...But the page actually had a Hi Br---- (my name) in the upper right corner!! It took 3 phone calls, being on hold for nearly 20 minutes, and not a single straight answer to my concerns,to get my account cancelled, and I was told Not to expect a refund !!

The website is absolutely horrible and makes posting and communicating difficult at best. Even getting to the site is often near impossible. In addition, I tried to write a review for someone and the "submit" button is always dead. I also had the experience as another person of signing up for a month and having to fight tooth and nail to have them stop charging. Also, if you sign up for 3 months, and cancel after 2, you pay for the 3rd but lose access to the site. Horrible.

Niet intrappen!! Ik had een gratis account gemaakt maar zonder dat ik het wist hadden ze onder mijn naam een advertentie geplaatst. Daar stond onder andere in dat ik hulp zocht voor de tuin, terwijl ik niet eens een tuin heb. Ik kreeg allemaal reacties die ik alleen kon lezen als ik ging betalen. Ik wilde het account opzeggen, maar dat is me tot nu toe niet gelukt. Het lijkt er vooral om te gaan dat je gaat betalen, maar als ik de andere reviews hier lees is dat geen goed idee.

This company is terrible. They charged me an automatic charge when I signed up for just a month. They charged me again for the next month. All they said when I asked to reverse the charge was "well you should have read our policy." I did. I signed up for 1 month. And in that month no one responded to my ad and I used none of their services. So they got away with over $100 for doing nothing!

You cannot message providers at ALL without a paid account, and the wording on the entire website is EXTREMELY misleading. It implies the existence of some limited messaging with wording like "unlock unlimited messaging with premium," and you don't find out that they actually mean there's NO messaging available until someone messages you and you can't reply to them. The cheapest possible payment to just reply to a message is $40 for ONE MONTH. (Or $60+ or $100+ for 3-month or 1-year long memberships. "A good deal" MY BUTT.) You cannot put alternate methods of communication in your job description - they will mark is as "inactive" if you try. And, to top it all off, the comment box to deactivate your account only allows for 200 characters. It has been a LONG time since I've seen such a scummy, money-grabbing scheme like this one. If I can't tell them directly how s**tty I think this is? Fine. I'll leave reviews on every site I can find. I would give this 0 stars if I could. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. Using it only encourages this kind of immoral behavior. Do your research and find the providers you're looking for elsewhere, even if you can afford the membership.

I am a career nanny. This site used to be free to caregivers then they started charging lots of membership fees to be featured and such. It became the only way to be able to find a job through here. Also, care seems to have no idea what the local rates are as their pay scale calculator based on zipcode is very inaccurate. And finally, care allows families to grossly undercharge nannies making them think they can afford them. There is seemingly no vetting process when posting jobs and I have seen jobs posted offering 8+ hours/day at as little as $25/day, which is illegal. I used to like care 10 years ago when I started my nanny career, but nowadays it just seems like any other money hungry business. I have since been very successful in my career promoting myself through local nanny agencies and Facebook nanny job boards, both of which are completely free.

Do not ever use their paid services when looking for caregivers. I paid for 3 months of a membership, hired a girl for housecleaning, and 1.5 hours AFTER she was supposed to show up, I had to contact the caregiver, just for her to tell me that she was no longer interested. I wrote a negative review of the caregiver which they did not post for over a week until I contacted Care.com...now the negative review has been completely removed in spite of having documented conversations on Care.com that show what happened! Such a sham of a service, look elsewhere!

This site epitomizes SCAM!- The ONLY objective is to get your credit card info$$...Care.com has plenty friendly faces of (alleged) caregivers advertised to help, however reality is, none are real-no one responds. You will be billed and auto-billed; every professional this service has is fraudulent SCAM -nothing legit about this company-go anywhere else!!
