They lied and said I had Covid, sent me multiple emails, I was disturbed and asked them what the issue was and they closed my account. Customer service wouldn’t fix their own companies error and just seems shady, a few days prior I had paid for a background check, so they had my banking info.. very shady timing!!!!

I have been scammed, instead of charging me 9 pounds per month, they took my money for 12 months. There is no way to contact them, only by email and no one responded. I have reported them everywhere and will continue to do so. I have reported to my bank and we will dispute this.

Really a shame... CARE.COM is a really great idea [creating a care provider marketplace] with below par customer service and interface. Unbelievably inflexible and devious... don't give them your money... they will not treat you well.

Dont bother. Max radius 50 miles for a live in housekeep is a joke. Profiles not up to date. A waste of time. I wish I had read the reviews first too.

Wow, I certainly wish I would have read all of these reviews BEFORE signing up for care.com and being completely ripped off. I am not surprised in the least that most of these reviews are highly negative. DO NOT sign up for this site. I specifically joined for a 1 month plan and have been being charged, without my knowledge or permission for the past 6 months. The only reason I even found out that I was still being charged was because I received an email from an applicant and thought to myself why am I still getting applicants when I don’t even have an account ?! So I called and tried to explain to the customer service department and they said there was nothing they could do and it was clearly disclosed to me...I promise you it was not. This is a horrible scam of a site and I never even used it to hire anyone. Don’t waste your money or time !

Care.com is a joke. How are you going to charge nannies / babysitters $14.99 to start just to apply for jobs in the midst of a global pandemic? They have been a money crazed, selfish company for the last 5-6 years I’ve known of the app. What a shame.

I was lookin for a good cleaning lady for a one day service and Care.com popped up in a search so I created a profile like I was prompted to. I signed up for a one year subscription since the site would not allow me to reach out to anyone till I paid. After only 3 minutes of searching through the site I realized this service is not for me so I canceled my account. Two days later there was no refund of the $130 + dollars i paid so I called customer service. The woman on the phone said refunds are not in their policy eventhough she could see my account was only active for an hour. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she refused saying that there weren't any available. STEER CLEAR OF THIS SITE!! WHAT THEY DID IS CALLED THEFT AND THEY REFUSE TO MAKE IT RIGHT! I ended up finding my own cleaning lady through Facebook.
