They charge at both ends. The person looking for care has to pay $40 while the person looking for a job is paying too. I have heard of places charging for leads and other places charging for finding the employee you are looking for but they shouldn't be charging at both ends. I am wasting my time asking someone to work for me and asking about references If that person can't respond because they haven't paid this month and if some one paid for leads they shouldn't be given leads to people that haven't paid for service either.

Horrible customer service. Will never use this service again and will never recommend anyone.

Recurring charges despite paying for "1 month" they are terrible with customer service.

I signed up for care.com and then canceled within a week and continued to get billed for two months after cancellation date. Called customer service and they refused to give my money back. They have the date I canceled but when ahead and charge me for two more months that should be illegal. I don’t see how they get away with this and will contact Better Business Bureau. Wish I looked at reviews before I ever signed up with them.

I recently signed up for care.com as a beginner babysitter. I purchased the premium 20/ month background check. The app is easy to use but I’m disappointed that when you apply for a job none of the people wanting a babysitter/ nanny doesn’t respond.... I had a lady respond to my application about the hours I would like to work around 9:30 this morning and no response still. Im very nervous that I wasted my money and time on this app...I’m hoping things work out in the next week finding a job but if not I’ll be moving on from care.com!!!

BEWARE!!!!!!! Deducted 1 year recurring after my Father was dead

Some legal entity of the state should review those "terms and conditions"; for years I was deducted from my bank a monthly sum, backgrouk chekc, etc., as a caregiver I complained to the family I worked with for a vacation payment, previously agreed, refusing to pay it and alleging harassment with care.com and what care .com was to cancel my membership, refusing to attend to me, without doing any investigation and what they did was throw the aforementioned "terms and conditions" in my face without any explanation, These only lend themselves to run over both parents and caregivers

com has unethical automatic renewal practices and their revenue strategy relies simply on people forgetting to check for active subscriptions. They do not remind consumers that an annual invoice will be automatically drafted, and charge consumers even if their services are not being used. They do not refund subscriptions even if you haven’t logged onto their site in a year and make the request to their customer service team because “The automatically renewing nature of your subscription was clearly disclosed to you, both before and after your purchase.” Because of course everyone remembers every terms and conditions of every purchase they’ve ever made right? I requested a refund since I had not used their services since 2019 and planned not to do so again in the future. Since I’m getting no services or products in return for the money spent, I want my money back.
