I set up a Care.com subscription to find a caregiver for my Mom. It didn't work. I was able to find a caregiver through word of mouth. I cancelled my subscription with Care.com. However, they continued to bill me for months. That's fraudulent activity. I'm owed more than $350.

No one we have ever interviewed and introduced to our children has ever worked out (ie become a nanny or a reliable babysitter) - in multiple states. But the worst part of this service is that if you forget how long a term you signed up for and they charge you to re-up it there are no refunds and no exceptions. This sounds reasonable at first, but is actually terrible customer service. When a customer contacts you in less than 24hrs to cancel a year long subscription they should honor it or at least give a partial refund. We have at least 15 years more of "care" needs and will not be trying this lousy service again (as well as telling everyone else to stay away.)

Don’t! Don’t! Ever use it They stealed my membership fee about 6 years. I tried to cancel many time. They still secretly charged my credit cards whatever how many card I replaced. Sis. Don’t even touch ur figures on them.! It is a total scam!!

Scammers these people are typical scammers. I signed up for a care giver account, paid background check and premium membership fee. Guess what they closed my account claiming that something in my bio said I was a business. Mind you my bio clearly stated that I’m an In-home child care provider and I can only take on 1-2 children. These people closed my account claiming that “I’m a business and I should open a business account.” Im just a mom of 3 and I was trying to work in my home and my account was only open for 10 days, I didn’t even use the services and they just closed it for no reason at all and said they can’t refund my money. SCAMMERS

One step away from a scam I signed up and paid for 1 month, then I cancelled because the platform is pretty useless and there were basically no Nannies on there. I’ve just noticed that they’ve been taking a subscription fee from me for 3 months after I cancelled. Luckily I noticed on my bank account because I have received literally zero emails or correspondence from them. I haven’t received any receipts for the amounts taken nor have I received any communication at all about my subscription. So the cancellation was ignored or I was auto enrolled back onto the platform after I cancelled, and then they’ve sneakily stopped all and any contact so there was no way for me to know that I’d been resubscribed. So sneaky. I’ve tried to resolve this with their customer services but they just say they don’t give refunds. So they’ve essentially stolen £100 from me and there isn’t anything I can do about it. So please beware. And what makes it even more annoying is that their platform is awful and there are barely any nannies on there so using the website was a waste of time in the first place. How sad that companies can cheat people like this and get away with it.

The company charged me for a really long time when I had forgotten I had the subscription. They never sent any emails to remind you that money is coming out of your account. They were not understanding at all and refused to refund me even a partial amount. The whole amount added up to over $1000. A complete scam for a company meant to be based on care.

This company has received regulatory attention, As it should. It looks benign, the sitters are real and great! The website is a fraud. I was charged $366 dollars for a service that did not occur through care.com and could not be deleted. They will not talk with me nor will they refund the money. You are best to stay very clear of the criminal website 100% or you will be taken to. 12.9.25, care.com did refund the appropriate amount as requested. Do note the initial customer service is silence, proceed with caution.

dont trust this place. they will take your money, the software does not work. then when you try and call for customer service they will hang up on you over and over again. run fast from this company
