False advertising. Horrible customer service. They are not a service. They merely host profiles for you to view. They randomly “feature” profiles for no actual reason. They mistakenly erased my review for one great nanny I gave 5 stars to and wouldn’t even let me update with a new one. Then I had an absolutely horrible nanny for only 3 weeks before ending that employment and she was able to disable her profile so that I couldn’t leave a review warning anyone else. It’s clear she does this frequently because the site allows you to just make a new profile and she can get her same references to write new reviews for her. It’s a scam and it’s horrible the site allows this to go on. They’re letting customers get lied to so you can’t trust who you hire.

Poor customer service. If you subscribe, note that the online portal for cancellation does not work. As such, they will continue to charge you. One must actively send an email or call to cancel the service (despite the misleading information provided that suggests you can cancel via the portal) Very underhanded in my view.

Took my money as care provider Won’t list me Help page is a blank Looked on line to find telephone number. On calling it just cuts off.

Unless you root through the site and find the deeply buried cancellation area, you'll be auto-charged $50 a month without being aware that it's happening. They got me twice with this, so I lost $100. Plus the product is pretty useless for finding someone within a static and limited number of options.

I had tried to get work through this site. They told me a one of payment of £15 was contacted by my bank that care.com had taken £91 even when I sent them proof they still dispute they have taken the money. Care.com is a scam for people seeking work and for people offering work

Care.com is the absolute worst for both customer service and quality of site. $50/month and basically none of the dozens of caregivers that I reached out even responded. Their profiles said they were all active that day I sent out correspondence and Care.com even listed them as “star” profiles. I emailed customer service to ask for my money back and was told “tough luck we don’t give refunds no matter what.” These scammers promote that they a caregiving matching company but will not assure any sort of a connection between paying customers and their site caregivers. Stay away from Care.com

After spending 3 hours contacting caregivers and spending $120 on the site, they removed my profile and job listing a mere 2 days before my 95 year old father with dementia will be without enough aides while my mother has heart surgery. Thanks “care”.com, it’s one thing to have fake looking profiles, it’s another to remove customers in need.

Honestly screw this site! I messaged over 5 different potential sitters all which had seen the message and never responded. I cancelled the very next day. A $75 sign up fee which they say is not there problem. How about the fact that they have no customer service number or way to ask any questions. Worst site ever.
