Site advertises that it is a free service. After giving them my information and filling out the forms as to the needs of my wife, I get emails of potential care givers but when I open them, I have to pay a subscription fee to even see what they offered! Unethical, the subscription requirement should be stated up front.

I chose one month subscription and the second month they charged me without my authorization. I tried to connect with them with email, phone and online chatting, none of the above works. They seem not existed on earth. The caregivers I reached out listed as active are not active at all. Very unethical. I will never recommend this website to anyone considering you will be introducing someone to your house taking care of your babies.

They ushered me through the worst experience I have EVER had in my 30+ year career of hospital care for others. I would never recommend them to anyone. It's a shame that they're still operating given the negative experiences so many clients and caregivers have posted. They are clearly unsafe AND unethical crooks. If you care, do NOT go there.

Care.com cheats subscribers several ways In my experience as a customer: 1. Site automatically renews credit card 2. Site makes it impossible to cancel charges 3. Site posts caregiver who no longer exist 4. Site does not match job ads with current sitters 5. Site’s technological aspects perplex users never providing true service. 6. Responses to problems do not come for days and weeks 7. Care.com biz model relies on certain levels of deception for revenues. 8. After months, no acceptable applicants were found, care.com did not offer assistance when I contacted them!

This is horrible company. They come up with reason after reason they can’t publish your ad, like saying my name wasn’t correct. Customer service is non existent so you pay for something you can’t use. You submit complaints about this - almost one month in and unable to use what I paid for and they just downgrade your membership without a refund then quit answering emails altogether. Definitely needs to be reported for the fraud it is. A company can’t ethically bill someone for something you never provide. This is fraud. Paid $85 for 3 months. Did they think this was a donation??

This is a very expensive "service". Caregivers don't seem to get potential clients messages. There is no support. Premium means nothing. Honestly, don't waste your money.

Please do not make the mistake of signing up for this service ! I had zero luck finding a caregiver after signing up for a premium service. Everyone I was interested in was unavailable even tho their profiles stated otherwise. The only person available had multiple negative reviews. THEN they charged me twice because it was on autopay. When I tried to get a refund for the second month there’s no way to contact a person!! It was through chat where they told me that they were strict about giving refunds and they didn’t have a phone number for customer service! SO IM OUT $80 and never found a single caregiver through this service. Do not waste your time! Find caregivers through word of mouth or Facebook.

Horrible company. If you're an idiot like me and you decided to pay extra for the premium membership, you'll regret it. I regreted it immediately when I saw that there were ZERO careseekers within 20km of my location (I've used this service in the past when I lived in more of a "Hot spot" area I guess. Let's just say I got major buyer's remorse this time and I wanted to cancel one day after I subscribed. It states in their Terms and Conditions that you have 7 days to cancel a premium subscription but they wouldn't honor it! A bunch of scam artists for sure. Funny thing is, you can't interact with people looking for care if one of you hasn't purchased the premium membership. It's a total scam. Don't waste your time or your money. You have been warned!!!
