Thought I wanted to use their service, filled out the online form. After inputting credit card information, I changed my mind and closed the tab. They captured my CC # and charged me anyway. I IMMEDIATELY contacted them via phone, email, chat within moments of a “confirmation email” regarding my enrollment. No answer on phone or chat, had to contact them via email ONLY and told them what had happened, that I changed my mind and they would not cancel the charge or account. VERY unprofessional and frustrating. Submitted complaint to BBB for their practices.

Care.com is a website that is suppose to be helpful for busy parents; however their membership polices are not friendly to that population. You can't actually talk to anyone and all the chat tells you is what is already on their site. Such a cold way to treat customers. I will absolutely never refer anyone to this over priced site.

Care.com is scam and gets access to your bank details to charge you for the service and package that one does not require. I subscribed for 1 month £29 package (alongside I could choose from £54 3 m ok th package and £108 1 year package ), so what they did was to charge me on the ongoing basis for the service each month £29 for more than a year. They referred to the Terms and Conditions later , insisting that I signed it and should have been aware that I have them right to charge me until I cancel. That is misleading the customers and allows them to get fees without users knowing what they subscribe to. Their customer service is rude and only calls to point at a small font T&C which they think covers their fraudulent and misleading sale.

2 emails sent via their email and left 3 message voicemail not one has called me back. They continue to change me $39 monthly and billing and my email doesn’t work. They don’t seem to care. Plus most people won’t even respond when you sign up to let you know if they can help or not. This comp at should change their name to DONTCARE.com

Do not use care.com. They say you’re signing up for one month and you pay for that period but then they start auto billing you every month after without asking or advising CLEARLY they will do this. They have not signed up to an ombudsman and so you cannot pursue them through this route. They have no complaints policy and refuse to refund you no matter what. DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN THIS SCAM AND POST TO ALL LOCAL SOCIAL MEDIA GROUPS. My only mistake was not checking my bank account throughly- the reason being the very same reason I sought help from this website in the first place... because I am over run with childcare duties and working full time and barely have time to double check everything. They take advantage of the very audience they are there to serve.

This company is the WORST!!!I signed up for an account when our 91 yo aunt moved in, as we needed care givers while my husband and I were working. We had 2 people actually show up one worked for 3 days before never coming back the other worked 2 hours and no called no showed for her next shift. So we canceled our membership which is a pain to do. Fast forward 6 months later and we noticed we had been charged. I reached out assuming it was a mistake. No they said I must not have completed the cancelation process and they will not refund the my money. Even though we haven't so much as logged on in 5 months.

WORST BUSINESS DO NOT SIGN UP COMPLETE SCAM! They will not refund you no matter what - they have some of the worst customer service teams I have ever seen. I wasted $150 on this scam. We barely make ends meet as is - I couldn't find a sitter so we agreed to this service ten minutes after signing we realized that the service would not work for us. So I reached out asked for a refund - came here and then still nothing. DON'T BE LIKE ME! THIS BUSINESS NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.

DISHONEST WITH NO CUSTOMER SERIVCE! I'm an employer that explored using care.com to seek new employees. Beware if this is your intent! My thought was to use them for one month to try the service out. I gave the necessary info to them over the phone, with no knowledge that they were "upgrading" an account for me. They have been auto billing me 160+ a month for over a year! I had no idea since I do NO business with them, nor receive any statements letting me know that they are auto withdrawing from my account. I didn't even use them for the one month that I paid them for. Good luck speaking to a human being with this company either. They did NOTHING to compensate me.
