Absolutely scam. I need a caregiver for my elderly father. This seems like a great place to find someone and with the free account I found several people who could help him. But, to respond to their applications I have to pay at a minimum 38.95 for one month! At the high end it's over 144.00 for a year. This could be such a great service and very useful, but instead it is just a rip off.

Garbage. Missed my cancellation day by 24 hours and they refused to refund the monthly fee. Pretty bad customer service.

Terrible company to work for. They don't care about their employees. They say it is flexible hours but they expect everyone to be available for a certain amount of hours a week! When a family books you, you don't even get a chance to accept or decline it!

This should be a good service. You sign up for a set duration which is cheaper the longer you sign up for, then you get access to people advertising their services. I registered for 1 month, which is at a premium greater than if I'd say registered for 3 months. At the end of the month, Care.com continue to take money indefinitely, and at the increased one month premium. When I challenged this, they said they'd done so to be helpful. I did get some of the money refunded but not all of it.

I haven’t even used care.com yet. It’s literally 39.99 just to have a freaking account?! On TOP of paying the sitters/caregivers?! Like what the heck? Plus when I tried working for this company (since i have my caregiver license) I was going to be a baby sitter but the lady that wanted me to babysit literally cursed me out for not being able to, i told them this and they left her review on my page and I ended up deleting the entire account.

I’d leave a zero if I could. The auto renew is not made clear and even at the point (the day) of rollover I immediately notified them I did not sign up to a subscription and they refused to return my money. Absolutely diabolical company.
