I was duped at first
I was duped at first. I thought I'd found the answer for my elderly neighbor! I typed in my info to join and typed up a little blurb on the job needed. Yay! (or so I thought) So then came my email stating the job had posted. Wow I was so excited to see who was applying and to get the ball rolling. I log on only to find I cannot even view the response from the caregiver because I have to PAY to be a member first. This was not disclosed upon signing up to become a member, so then I went further to read reviews about the company and see that there are tons of negative ones from people such as myself who innocently signed up looking for caregivers for their loved ones, only to find the almighty dollar was demanded before even deciding if you wanted to go with any of the caregivers. Also if you look a their billing/payment FAQs you see that if you purchase an annual membership or anything other than monthly, and then cancel before the end, they do not care and continue to bill you until the end of that period of time. Horrible to say the least. I am so thankful to be able to share my thoughts and hopefully keep others from going through the same thing. Thankfully I never gave out any payment info so I just closed my job listing and will never return. What a shame you cannot just find a network of qualified caregivers in this day and age without having to shell out bucks. The caregiver is not even for me! Why do I want to pay to search for one?
