Totalt scam! De snyder helt vildt med opslag og annoncer og, når man ikke er medlem mere sender de dig opslag hverdag og ikke mens du er medlem. Jeg blev opkrævet for 2 måneder også selv om jeg kun skulle have det 1 måned. Overhovedet ikke tilfreds med denne side og bliver aldrig medlem igen.

Without a single email or reminder, they quietly converted what I believed was a one‑time $180 background check into a surprise $380+ charge more than a year later. When I questioned it on 1/1/2026, I received a generic form-letter refusal citing their own fine print—no acknowledgment of the lack of communication, no goodwill, no accountability. If not illegal, these tactics are certainly unethical and customer‑hostile. Anyone seeking trustworthy childcare and ethical business practices should think twice before relying on Care.com.

It never happened please refund

Not something I will take any further . One message from someone interested in sitting for my dogs NOW.. Care.Com want money to respond. Absolutely not. There are better platforms than this shambles

Total scam. Paid for service and even upgraded fee to hire a full time home care giver. Even went through full verification and background steps (another extra fee). WHen it came time to log in to contact applicants, the web page kept asking for verificaiton, or just refrehed the page. No access to contact any providers. Custoemr service said they would look into it but did nothing after many days. Called, emails, live chat, no resoluation. Told them to cancel and they refused to refund. I had to chargeback with my bank. Terrible company, worthless custoemr service, and not usable at all.

Didn’t work out

#1 Once you put a card on file you can NEVER get rid of it. It is uploaded on the site until it expires. This is a manipulative approach that poor companies do when their service is horrible and no one wants to continue a membership. #2 I joined the site after seeing 3 profiles that I really liked. I paid the fee. I contacted them. NONE of them got back to me. I didn't even discussed cost, schedule or anything because nothing happened. I'm actually wondering if they have ghost profiles of amazing people who don't actually work through the site, that way you pay the membership fee. #3 On the other hand, I had about 30 people contact me. Half of them had mug shot photos that were unprofessional. Some of them didn't know how to communicate clearly in an email, using three word responses. That was not reassuring. #4 Of the 30 who contacted me, The other half wanted $30-40/hour for Elderly Companion care. No nursing, no showers, no meds, no changing clothes, no driving. Just companion care and heat up microwaved meals. I could hire a CNA from a legit company for the same amount or less. It made no sense because the profile would say 18-25 per hour, but in communication they all wanted 30+/hour. Every single person who I contacted back, all of them wanted more money than was indicated in their profile. Its a classic bait and switch. **Before you pay, it looks like they have a huge network of people who are professional and affordable. When you actually use the site, none of that exists. I would say it is false marketing just to have you pay the fees.
