RE: Care.con I will NOT continue to pay for a service I do not want need or use. Cancel my service immediately and refund the June payment of $60.60. You did not provide the promised service. No caregivers were available in the areas needed. The advertised caregivers had insufficient experience or were unavailable. Your service was useless. I’ve been trying to cancel this service for sometime but you keep charging me. I’m going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and local media. My grandfather died in April or May I did not find anyone through your service to care for him. Stop stealing my money! Please cancel my membership and refund June 2021 charges. How do I call to talk to a live person? This is absurd.

Their policy is pathetic. They never give refunds and there are no exceptions? I used their service for 2 weeks and they refuse to refund me for the next 11 months of my membership that I won't be using. What a ridiculous business model. If I did this in my business, I guess I would also be a millionaire. You should care about your customer service not the money going into your pockets. I'll never recommend care.com or use this service ever again. Not worth it at all.

Unglaubliche Frechheit, die wollen 30 Euro pro Monat um einen Katzensitter für 30 Euro zu finden. Einfach echt unglaublich dass die Seite überhaupt noch existiert. Finger weg!!

Care.com is trash. DO NOT sign up!! 1) even with your $40 monthly, you so have to pay extra for background checks 2) when downgrading, double and triple check.  I've downgraded and took screenshots of my downgrade and was still charged $40 for another 2x months! Before you ask, no, they refuse to refund me Just don't do it. It's not worth it. 90% of the people you'll find haven't been hired for a job through the app which means no rating/ feedback and again, no background check. The system to downgrade doesn't work and they will continue to charge your card and will not refund anything. I downgraded and didn't realize I was charged until my statement arrived. I then downgraded again and was still charged. Then after about 10 emails with many delays, they finally downgraded me. This is a scam and I wouldn't use it for that reason.

Dit is een foute club: je betaald 35 euro voor de 1e maand, en er wordt aangegeven dat je direct weer kan opzeggen zodat betalingen niet doorlopen. Maar vervolgens kan je dat met geen mogelijkheid voor elkaar krijgen: de telefoon wordt niet opgenomen, en het contactformulier wordt niet beantwoord. Weggegooid geld!

Wish I would’ve read the reviews on Trust Pilot prior to signing up for their paid subscription. Trust the reviews here - care.com sucks, and you should only use them if you have no other option (including staying at home with child). Extremely low quality applications to our job listing. Consistently people applying 50+ miles away, people who immediately creeped us out (poor or broken grammar, strange profile picture), or people who straight up didn’t read a word of the job posting itself. After $60 and days of sifting through junk mail, finally decided to cancel my service. Trust me when I say: care.com will hold onto that money like it’s the last dollar they’ll ever see. Most subscription services I’ve used (sling, other tv services, internet service, magazine subscriptions) will gladly refund your money if you email an exception request within a week. Not care. They seem desperate, and their overseas-based customer service team were quite condescending in their correspondence about this, and defensive when I shared my feedback about low quality applicants. Network, people!

I signed uo for this service and quickly realized they had nobody that would work for us. I downgraded our service in under 30 days, however was still charged the next months fees. When i saw this on my credit card i logged in again and went through the steps to downgrade once again. They charged me again the following day. Their online chat features do not work. I had to email a complaint, they responded by telling me their system showed no record of us downgrading and refused to refund. Absolute crooks. Very frustrating
