If I could give 0 I would. I cancelled my account the day before I was to be charged for another month--they then locked me out of my account and never canceled it, processed the charge for the next month, and would NOT refund. I could not even access the service I was paying for for a month.

I signed up for care.com to look for a housekeeper. I signed up for a 1 month single pay non-renewing service. They upgraded me without my consent, and suddenly I was paying every month. I didn't check my emails and this went on for months. I am so incredibly angry. I just discovered all of these charges since March (now September), and when I went to cancel, it was so complicated that I had to look it up on google- how do I cancel this account? My fault for not checking. Their fault for being fraudulent. Don't go anywhere near this site.

Very shady. Beware! After you don’t need them, you can’t find a way to keep them from charging your credit card almost $40 a month forever! No way to contact their customer service!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! My husband died and I have been trying to cancel my membership for weeks. Holding online for a “chat for help” for over an hour. Sent emails. Nothing!!! It will not let you cancel even if you no longer need the service. Do not use them!!!

They sign you up for reoccurring payments and do not refund you even if you call them same day the charge came out. Not helpful, I wasn't able to find any child care in 4 months of using their website and after 4 months they charged me 75.00 again, when I called for refund, they said that the charge is reoccurring, even though I DID NOT sign up for reoccurring payments. Please watch out! Not helpful for desperate parents trying to find childcare and being charged on top for NO SERVICE. Horrible. I never leave reviews, but had to do it in this case.

They trick you into thinking you have cancelled your subscription by bringing you to multiple pages and requiring multiple submissions to downgrade your account. It’s a total scam to trick you into thinking you downgraded when you actually didn’t.
