Not worth the fee..unreliable
We had a caregiver cancel 2 hours prior to when she was supposed to arrive. Care.com did not help in finding a replacement. I would never recommend this service.

Please do not use this site. it is a scam! They make money from both people looking for jobs and for people looking to hire someone. Look at all the lawsuits filed against them. They claim that they check their sitters but it is only in the county the sitter lives In. You usually find this out after you are out of the non refundable auto renewal membership. So if that person committed a crime in the neighboring county you couldn’t know. if you pay to do a background check [$300]. They tell you they can not guarantee how long it would take. Also most of the people they show you do not respond since they are probably no longer active and are not required to update their profile. Report them to the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION.

This is the worst website I've ever witnessed or paid for a service on. ITS TOTAL BULL. the site is a scam, and the people who are applying for the Jobs are the most worthless people anyone has ever met. Its the worst website I've ever witnessed or taken apart of in my life. DO YOUSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT PAY MONEY TO THIS SITE. AND DO NOT USE IT.

This company is basically fraudulent. I tried to get into my account to cancel the subscription but it was using an old email that I had no access to. I had no way to get through to them because all of the service emails would go to the old email. When I would log in to my proper email address's account, it would say that I have no subscription, but if I tried to use the old email address account, it wouldn't let me change my email address b/c the right one was "in use." And after all these GAMES, they do not issue refunds even for prorate future service. Everyone tries to cancel because the service is such junk, and that's why they don't offer refunds because everyone would cancel!!

I wish I would have done some research before paying $70 for 3 months :( after contacting about 15 potential sitters on this site , no one was available. One person replied and didn’t want to chat over the phone or in person and then they just stopped messaging me. In the end I wasn’t able to find anyone. So I paid for nothing. I don’t think this site is legit. If there isn’t already a class action suit against this site I think there should definitely be one. This place is making so much money from people.

This site is a scam - Buyer beware! They happily take your money and don't provide anything in return. You can browse the site in search of people to hire but must pay in order to communicate with them. They show all these people who are available to take on new clients. After I paid, I reached out to numerous people in search of a regular housekeeper. More than 1/2 never responded. The ones who did were not accepting new clients (even though Care.com showed them available to hire prior to paying the subscription). I contacted Care.com for a refund and was told it's not their problem if people don't respond or update their profiles. Of course they've refused to refund any money. I've now taken the dispute to my credit card company.

I had made a post previously and closed my account and then I needed to find a nanny, since my current one needed to go back to her full time job, so I posted another job. This company never gave me any notifications to any issues but it was until close to a month when I wanted to look over my post, because no one has applied to the job and I wanted to see perhaps my post wasn't eye catching. Instead, I discovered my post wasn't even posted, so no wonder no one has applied to the job. I contacted them they said they alerted me and it was because I had insufficient data, but if I did, why did the first post not have any issues and I asked them when did they send me a notification and they said they'll investigate but never got back to me instead I am getting the runaround and they're saying post is free, but meanwhile yes, I can post for free I just wouldn't be able to apply to any of the applicants that applies without the membership. DO NOT GO WITH THIS BUSINESS. They do not help you at all. They never answer my question about when was I notified and how come I never had this issue with the first post. They all answer back with the same reply - you had insufficient info and you can post for free so it doesn't matter you don't have a membership.

I signed up for a month, couldn't find anyone that would actually show up, and cancelled by the end of the month. The "downgrade" button clearly doesn't work and the error handling implies that it was successful. Now I'm fighting to get them to remove 3 months of service that I thought was cancelled. Which they have refused to do.
