SUPER SHADY. was unable to cancel my membership. I tried on 3 different platforms/computers and was unable to get it cancelled. I followed their help center directions and everything. Called their phone that I researched on google since their website has no phone number.... that phone was disconnected. Finally saw a chat box and was able to connect with someone on a saturday morning. they said they cancelled it for me. I hope they did or else I am disputing the crap out of these charges.

So I deleted my account in July it’s now October and they’re still taking payments off of me, I don’t know what to do as I can’t login

I wish I had come here and seen these terrible reviews before I signed up for Care.com. I was looking for a nanny and had to sign up for the basic membership to contact anyone. Unbeknownst to me, they charged me two other hidden fees in addition to the basic membership I agreed to. In totally, I was charged around $260 to send a single email to a potential nanny. I tried to resolve the issue with them, assuming that it was some glitch or mistake. However, after 5+ times reaching out to them, I kept being told all purchases are nonrefundable.

They allow anyone to post a review on you even if you haven’t worked for that person. I had a man harass me and then post a negative review bec I rejected him and they allowed it. They do not care about their nannies

They would not approve my post for 5 days then still took these 5 days off my 30 day subscription. When I requested that my subscription be extended for the 5 days that I was ignored over and over. Horrible experience I will never go back.

Care.com is a total scam. They automatically renew you annually...beware!!!

This is a complete waste of money - do not waste your time or money on this website service. We signed up to find a nanny to watch our children, and received a lot of interest from nannies registered on this website. We set-up interviews and every single one of the applicants were a no show. We soon realized that CARE.com pays for the top 10 websites for reviews on their company on google.com search engine - you need to really search to find the accurate, honest reviews which reflect the reality of how awful this company is. After two weeks they refused to refund us (even though we were not able to find ONE applicant to return a call, or show up for an interview, and we had upwards of 50 applicants). We even asked if we could just pay for one month of service instead of the full year, to get SOME money back - and they refused. This is a scam, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - you will regret it.

Care.com is a SCAM. I Was looking for caregiver for mom. When I first registered I thought I try it because it said you can cancel anytime so I thought I would get billed monthly. As soon as I registered it took my money for a whole year. I didn’t even use the service for a week. I reached out to a couple of caregivers and was only contacted by one person. She said she would call me back because she would be away but she never did. I searched for phone numbers for care.com to cancel service to get a refund and couldn’t find one only an email that says someone will contact me in 48 hours and it never happened. Went into my account settings and followed all cancellation protocols. Hope I don’t get charged again. Have emailed every way I can to Care.com but no answer. They took $155.00 upfront for a service that is flimsy. STAY AWAY from Care.com. SCAM.
