I would give zero stars if I could. They prey on busy parents but if anyone reads these review sites, just avoid this company. The profiles of carers do not exist in reality and emails you get from care.com users are just automatic emails from the company itself from these fake profiles so do not pay for premium account after you see these emails as they are not users emailing you just the company itself. No replies to emails from the company. The phone number is fake also. I have emailed 10 times and no reply. Easiest thing is report the company as fraudulent to relevant authorities and hope some prosecution happens.

This is a predator company- you can't buy anything without them taking your credit card info. They don't send an email to let you know they will be charging you again in order to give you a chance to cancel. They prey on busy parents. There are other companies out there that provide this service without stealing from you.

The site is a scam. I signed up for a single month. I was then charged each month for two more months. After being charged for the first extra month I emailed the company asking to delete my account and to give me a refund as I only signed up for one month. I never received a response and I never received a refund. I was again charged the following month. I immediately emailed her again asking for my account to be deleted and to give me a refund. My account was canceled and I received a refund for the third month, but they refused to give me a refund for the previous month and refused to acknowledge that I only signed up for one month and they charged my credit card two more times without permission. All of this and I never even found a caregiver. WhenI had the free version of my account it looked like there were plenty of caregivers in my area. Then once I signed up for the premium one month, there were no caregivers in my area. What a scam!

Avoid complete waste of money. All the cleaners or care staff dont reply to any messages. My guess is they're bots to fill the website. All have profiles with zero information on them. Dont waste your money and time trying to use this service. Go elsewhere.

When this site first started it was a free service that made money off advertising like many sites do. I had used their services a couple of times with good response and hire. Now the service is nothing but a cash cow money monster for their executives. Charging job seekers to advertise their services makes sense, but the rate structure is outrageously expensive, especially month to month. Considering that the types of work job seekers advertise are generally not top level income positions, the subscription pricing should be much much lower. To make things even worse, they charge the same tier of rates to users looking to hire someone! So you have to sign up for expensive monthly use, or subscribe for a year just to communicate with a member who's already paying for their own subscription. People looking to hire shouldn't have to pay anything, or at least on a different discounted price structure since they aren't creating a long term profile to advertise that they're looking for work. Awful site, even worse company structure and ethics. Response from talent has also proven to be flaky.

The “caregiver” lied to the rehab facility telling them she was family so she could go beyond the responsibilities of a companion which she was hired for. She thought she was a better caregiver. She alienated the staff and then quit because she said it was a “hostile work environment” and that she “didn’t feel safe”! HER actions created that environment. She was late 2/5 times and never apologized. Made me late to work but she didn’t care. Stay away from this place. Go to an AGENCY that has controls and standards.

Worst place to look for a caregiver position, no one replies. And when trying to downgrade, they make it impossible for you to change it to basic. I tried calling or chatting with Care.com, but it was impossible. Please don't waste your money with this ripp off web site. They are a ripp off!!!

The worst customer care I've experienced in years. For a company named care, they care nothing about their customers. They WILL NOT send you emails about upcoming bills, not even about a new billing cycle. They will also not refund you even within days of a call. All seems designed to get you to forget about the service and for them to keep billing you in stealth. I don't know how they're even allowed to accept credit cards with these types of practices.
