Care.com is undoubtedly one of the best platforms for connecting caregivers with families, and it has created many valuable opportunities for people in the caregiving industry. However, one concern I have is that caregivers often do not feel they have an equal voice on the platform. In situations where a caregiver is treated unfairly or receives an inaccurate review, there appears to be NO support or resolution available. At the same time, families are able to leave public reviews that can significantly impact a caregiver’s reputation and future opportunities. Caregivers are just as important as the families they serve, and there should be a balanced review system that allows caregivers to also provide honest feedback about the families they have worked with. Creating a fair and transparent environment for both parties would strengthen trust and accountability across the platform. #CaregiversAlsoMatter

I'm being using care.com since 2016 and has help me finding jobs. The care.com app was much better on the past, you can do everything now somethings you have to do it in a computer like a change in payment method, etc I always be a premium and daily I received in advance an email on yahoo with available job now no emails. Also, for one time opportunity you have to be booked and paid thru stripes which I can not because tax purposes I'm in PR and I lost a big number of jobs but now you don't have stripes thanks God. Sometimes when I look for jobs I noticed that some of then appear after weeks that has been post it. Parents told me that is very difficult to post jobs

I think it’s terrible to have to pay for the Background Checks on care website

Hi, there are just 1 or 2 people who responded to my job. There are no pictures I can put in - to show the house sitter the house or animals they will take care of. There is also no policy what happens, if they cancel before the stay. So even if I write out a contract, if they cancel, there are whole vacations ruined. The payment for just finding a petsitter/year is way too much. I love trustedhousesitters.com, where there are policies in place, in case a sitter drops out. Also the payment over $100/day for house sitting is way overpriced, esp. since I have to pay for each additional pet (having 3 pets)

I've been hired through care.com unfortunately I received leads from your site late sometimes after many have applied which leaves my chances for a hire slim Not sure why? I have all 5 star reviews. The ones that respond to me have been ok but not as many that I was hoping for. Besides that the site is ok. I also haven't been able to look at all my reviews when I look at my account only some show up, so do the client get to see all of them or are they limited also?

Program online not easy to work with I signed up for driver background and mot site how that works no response? Nit easy to reach someone chat never works no one there to answer People interested are good it's the online process not easy I should be able to get help easily to my questions

Update Aug 14 2026 - finally connected with team member after they continued to charge me for 8 months after I had documentation of a confirmed canceled account. They finally closed and deleted my account. Bumping up to 3 stars since the platform itself is fine but beware if you need to work directly with the company. Do NOT waste your time. Not only did I not find care for my son, but they also double charged me for an upgraded account. I reached out to notify them of the error and yet they continued to charge me (single, not double at least) despite confirmation that they had previously canceled my subscription. It went on for months and I am not fully convenienced it has been resolved. I came to this site after speaking with Care com customer service again. This is worse than the worst of canceling gym membership. I'd rather shove an ice pick through my belly button than deal with this company again.
