I'm generally not a fan of "free trials" where they start sticking it to you later but it is particularly despicable when it comes to seeking assistance with elderly family members in their final days. Judging from the massive number of complaints, it doesn't look like we were the only ones scammed by care.com.

If I could mark this company less than 1 I would! They send you what look like very good people BUT then charge you to speak to them! I could understand a one off fee once you have spoken and hired someone but this is just robbery. If there are any cleaners and people who will iron out there then please respond directly o this email. Don't be associated with this company. Colwyn Bay area mother aged 88 but no demntia issues.

This site will continue charging your card even after told not to. I had to go through the BBB to even get in touch with anyone. They told me they would not stop charging me. I went through my bank, filed a dispute for unapproved charges and had to get a new card, as advised by my bank, to stop charges. Do not trust this company.

Don’t use this site! NOT user friendly snd a rip-off. It is forcing me to pay for a background check but I am not searching for employment, I am searching for a housekeeper. The site does not let you choose both, you have to pick one or the other, but they do not explain that at all. There is ABSOLUTELY NO customer service!! Very unhelpful, unreliable, waste of time and money!

Beware of the auto-renew. They will not refund your money even though they know that you did not use the "premium" features that you were charged for. Customer service gives only templated responses and then closes the case.

This service was an expensive disappointment. I paid $38/month and was unable to find a nanny, received very few inquiries, and very little responses. The UI is tedious to use, especially when messaging. Full messages would not send. When I went to cancel, I received a bill that overdrew the account shortly after. In reaching out to customer support, the chat representative was demanding that my wife gives approval for the chat, even though my name and credit card information was on the billing. They did provide a refund for the month I didn't use, but it still put a bad taste in my mouth considering how expensive it was. They obviously don't read their reviews or they would know that their pricing model doesn't make any sense.
