They have removed my account and won’t tell me why! I have over 15 years experience in home care and I’ve worked in management as well. I’m HCA registered, DOJ/ FBI background and have had multiple 4 star ratings. They refuse to tell you why? I have not one thing on my background at all. I think if someone can say something about you and you can’t rebuttal, it’s absolutely illegal! My reputation and loss of work has been devastating.

I joined thinking I would be able to respond to messages. I cannot reply to anyone who reacts to my profile. So basically you cant do anything with basic membership. Posted jobs, do not expire. Full of jobs that aren't required and old. Update. I deleted old profile and added new one with my email. This contact info was removed from my profile, to prevent interested people from contacting me. Not worth joining, dont waste your time.

I am a parent that was looking for a caregiver to watch my child through the work week. We posted a job and messaged over 70 people and got only 3 possible candidates. Then they ended up backing out stating the hours didn’t work. But these caregivers had their hours on their profile. Wouldn’t you think they would update their profile….. Hardly anyone reads the messages.. so are these fake profiles???? What a waste of money and time. Care.com is a complete waste of money…

They will bring up inaccurate information on you and refuse to fix it. They tried to tell me that I can't have an account to use their care services, NOT WORK FOR THEM, just to use their services because of something supposedly on my record. My record is completely clean and always has been. I have multiple security clearances of varying levels and have for years. I even tried to contact them to have them fix it and they absolutely refuse!! They don't even care that they have and use inaccurate information. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!! Just imagine what else they're lying about if they don't even care about having accurate information.

I have used care.com for several years and have gotten a couple of normal jobs from them. I am a personal assistant/household manager. I recently had a bad experience with someone who employed me from care.com. I am assuming they reported me for some sort of wrong doing because my account was immediately disabled. I received the email below from care.com “We’re contacting you today because we’ve had to close your Care.com membership. There are different reasons why some accounts are closed, which you can see in our member account closure policy. If your questions are not addressed at the links provided, please click here.” In the last several months I have clicked the link they provide as that is the only way I am able to try and get answers. However I have yet to receive any response or explanation after 4 attempts. I cannot get help on website because I am banned. I did not lie in anyway. My background check was approved just two months before. Like I said, I am certain I was reported by the people I met on there and worked for for 2 months. My issue is.. 1. They are not telling me what I was reported for. 2. How can they just ban people without proper investigation? I would love to report my previous employer for being a scam. The job posted was not the job I was expected to perform. I could not get paid by them. They had be BABYSITTING their 2 year old child (including DRIVING her) after I told them NUMEROUS times that I was uncomfortable with children of that age that I am not a nanny and have no experience in taking care of a baby. I don’t even know how to properly work a car seat. I was being paid under the table (illegal). No overtime, on 16 hour days. I could go on and on. But I am not being given the opportunity to share my side of the story and warn others against these people. Excuse my rant. Care.com is a poor excuse for a company that allegedly provides safe practices while providing jobs.

Years ago I used care.com and it was a good job source; there was no fee to members looking for work - just to people looking for employees. I have not used the site since 2016 -- and yet, for reasons unknown, starting last fall Care.com charged my card $14.99 per month. I reported it to the bank as fraud and my card was cancelled; however because Care.com is a "legitimate business" and said that they were authorized to charge my card, the bank refuses to get my money back! I am no fonder of Priceline Visa at this point than I am of Care.com. You cannot call Care.com - all you get is a message and then cut off; I did call Priceline Visa and talk to some guy in the Philippines who suggested I call Care.com. So ditching Priceline Visa as well.
