I looked for a caregiver for my mother and none of those who responded to the ad had available time. I then looked for a house cleaner and found a great person through care.com. But the bills kept coming. The website turned my short subscription into a monthly bill!!! They call it a “feature”. I call it stealing.

Wish in I had checked this website first. I have been caught out as others have and signed up for a one off payment for 1 month and found the following month they have charged me a further £30. I emailed and no response, I called (number is hidden at the bottom of the page) and the guy wasn't very helpful at all. Says its in the terms and conditions etc which isn't good enough as when you book and pay on the website every indication is it's a one off payment so you are not expecting hidden monthly charges. Also the amount of people available to book for dog sitting was very small, I was lucky I managed to find one person available and suitable. Do not bother with this company, very poor customer care, they just want your money and don't have much to offer in return.

Did not receive one reply from my applications. Upgraded to the Premium service. Sent personal messages with my application as suggested by the website. Still no replies. I was worried that I hadn’t set up my profile correctly, so contacted Care.com. They suggested that the people who had placed their adverts were either too busy to respond, or were perhaps on holiday. What all 20 of them?! I would suggest saving your money and advertise locally in your area instead.

Stop! Do NOT sign up with Care.com!! As a small business owner I am perplexed that a company is making money off of these sweet people but will not provide a way to speak to anyone at Care.com on the phone. I tried to chat online and kept getting cut off because their system just went down. I wish I had read the reviews before I signed up with them!!!

I signed up for a 1 month subscription and then continued to take money off my credit card without my permission, with no notification, for another 3 months. Whilst most companies will refund you when this happens because it’s actually unlawful, this company just sent me terms and conditions which don’t even apply to me because I don’t reside in the US which the terms and conditions refer to. I asked for my complaint to be escalated to a manager but they just ignored. I am having to make a claim through my bank for fraud. I will be referring to trading standard too. It’s also a complete waste of money because no one replies to your emails. The two that did, both messed me around. I made arrangements with both to come at a certain time, they both cancelled after the time they were already supposed to be here, said they would come next week and be in touch but I never heard from them again. Avoid at all costs, read all the other negative reviews.

You see, i did not acuse you of making fake profiles, i did however acuse you of creating fake responses to our tender, and falsely stating that these "active members" had 100% answer rates. This scheme fooled us into thinking there would be plenty of candidates for our tender, if choosing to pay for the subscription.

Scam to the 3rd degree. charged my account twice because they fooled me with multiple emails to sign up for a background check after I paid for their premium access. I tried contacting them but they have no phone number. They have live chat with people who dont care. End story they stole $55 from me and that almost 2hrs of hard work to try to better myself on their platform.

This company is a scam. I specifically requested to use the service for a month in a tick box mechanism, thinking it would only charge for one month as specified. However. I was charged automatically for another month. When calling the company to correct this error, they said the small print tells you it will roll over unless cancelled. Their marketing fine print is tricky - beware of this. They refused to refund me too. Not happy and will never use this service again.
