Iv has been trying to hire someone for 3 months now as a housekeeper. Most of the workers never reply. And everyone that I have hired turned out to be VERY flaky. These are workers that are not capable of keeping a job.

I needed a babysitter for an important appointment I paid these subscription for the year they took my money will not give it back and then told me I failed a background screening there's nothing in my background that shouldn't allow me to get a babysitter nothing maybe but a DUI from a few years ago I have no violent history nothing in my background and there's no way to get my money back nobody to talk to no customer service I feel it was a big scam do not subscribe before reading every single term and condition you will not get your money back and you will not be able to use their services because they will suspend your account and you won't even be able to login to get the help you need to figure out what to do next they just send you a letter and tell you that they suspended your account and that's that your babysitter's canceled and there's nothing you could do about it to get your money back

Terrible service provider with predatory billing and invoice practices. They said one email upon start of your account and make it extremely difficult to unsubscribe, while they continue abusing your credit card and taking money. When you call customer services to explain not being able to unsubscribe and difficulty using the online tool not letting you unsubscribe, they state you agreed to be charged in perpetuity without any invoices or notification of upcoming renewal. In addition to the predatory billing practices, they do not have any real caregivers on their site and folks just sign up for a day of care to scam you out of $100-$200 and never return.

De site is zo gemaakt dat alles onduidelijk is en ze niet bereikbaar zijn. Ze zeggen van contact met hun op te nemen, niet te bereiken via messenger of het opgegeven mailadres.

I contacted at least 24 caregivers. It was obvious from the lack of response that most of the advertisers had been out of that service for a long time, the website over promises and greatly under delivers. If these caregivers are no longer providing a service, why doesn't care.com remove them? Does Care.com want to impress or mislead by huge database of caregivers when in reality they don't? Not only have I wasted money, but more importantly I have wasted time. Well done, you have well and truly earned another bad review.

Unfortunately this is a company that preys on parents and those seeking care givers. I was unable to access any useable services without signing up for a membership so I chose the one month deal. It is very misleading as they say at point of purchase that you can choose 1 month (most expensive), 3 months (cheaper per month), or 12 months (the cheapest per month). The fine print is that you will be put on a Premier Membership unless you cancel (even if you paid the most expensive rate for what you thought was just one month) which is £29/month. The only way I found out about this charge was because I lost my debit card and so had to cancel. It is very dark what this company does. They are purposefully trying to cheat people. Care.com can see that I had not accessed their service after the month I had paid for yet they would not give me a refund. I wish I had been smarter and not used this service, and more on top of my bank account to keep track of all the outgoings. All in all they removed £435 from my account. I can not afford that and they don't care.

Leaving this review not as an employee but as someone who tried to use their services. Company takes no accountability and just takes money from those looking for help. This website is absolutely horrible. I messaged tons of people about a position I was looking to fill and no one answered. I emailed care about this asking for a refund of my subscription, which they force you into, no one responded. I didn't realize I was going to get charged $50 every month. Four months later I did and contacted care again to ask for my account to be cancelled and to be refunded. They said no. They then emailed me outlining the terms and conditions and closed my case. Once your account is closed you cannot contact them again. It's absolutely horrible customer service and you should just be aware of this. Better to search out help via referrals or Facebook.

None of the people I contacted replied. A total waste of time and money.
