What a terribly money hungry company…
What a terribly money hungry company this turned out to be. They were okay at first, just providing a platform for those in need and those who offer their services to connect. After a while they discovered how many ways they could make more and more money from both sides. The icing on the cake for me has been the suspending of my account due to some inaccurate information from a background check an applicant requested. I've had an account with them for about 6 years and they suspended it in seconds. No way to argue or appeal it just suspended all because of some backwards information they received from the company they chose to use to run the check. All I can do is argue it with that agency but the damage is done now. The first part of the disclaimer underneath was about how No refund would be issued seeing I just signed up for premium membership, that says it all. It's really okay though, their loss because I know my worth. My biggest piece of advice is to cancel whatever credit card you put down for payment regardless of whether you're looking for help or looking for work because they will automatically keep charging you another term whether you signed up for it or not and once your account gets suspended like mine it's impossible to do anything about it through them. Shame on you care.com I'm editing since I'm unable to reply to your response. If only you were as quick to respond on your own platform since I still haven't heard back from you. Please don't add insult to injury. I've had a account with care.com for 6 years. If you read my review properly I said due to inaccurate information on a background report from a $2 company you use to run them you suspended my account. I met the qualifications for 6 years up till now is what you're saying? I'm beyond qualified and I know my worth. I have 10 messages in my in box from jobs I applied for that I'm losing money on thanks to your negligence. You're also making things worse for care.com referring to a refund I will receive, when the first thing stated said a refund will not be issued. All of this documentation is being stored and I've already hired legal aid against you and the poor excuse for a background check company used in this. Continuing to run your platform this way will not keep you in business much longer and if you want to smear my reputation and career I will not stop till the same is done to you. The only difference is you really are guilty of it. See you in court ...

Hi A M, If your account was closed, it most likely means you do not meet our eligibility guidelines. If you paid for a subscription and were closed immediately after, the system most likely issued you a refund, however it does sometimes take up to a week to process through your bank. If you'd like for us to confirm the refund, please reach out to us through the contact us link at helpl.care.com or through Facebook Messenger. Please include Reference Number REV-004408 in your response.
