1 star is too much for them. Sadly no way of leaving zero stars. After registering with this fraudulent company, I canceled my premium membership when I got no response after 2 months. Since then I was unable to login to my account. I tried password reset to no avail. I assumed my account has been cancelled. A year later I see a pending transaction in my bank account, so tried to contact them with no success. Bank not willing to cancel the transaction until they get confirmation from care.com. I am in a quandary. I have once again canceled the premium membership and got the same response “my account is active as premium until next year” My brilliant plan was to remove my card details from the website so that I don’t have the same trouble again. But alas You can edit your name but cannot edit your card details. It is amazing how much thought process went into their fraudulent business to scam unsuspecting victims. Please don’t make my mistake.

I have been member on care.com for several years..I have 3 fantastic letters of reference. I have been trying for over a week now to renew my screening and pay the fee..unfortunately when I click on renew it goes no-where and when I click on chat it goes no-where and when I try to get into my account I am told that in order for me to use the account I must pay the screening fee. I received a notice from care last evening that my current employer posted a review. I sent an email to the customer service address given on there website and it came back to stating that the emails are not monitored and to go through chat which doesn't work! I called all the numbers they listed for customer service and once again and I am told that I have to go through chat. I have tried to find the corporate number and that number is hidden from public viewing. Now I have always along with my clients paid there bill yet I can't get any help/customer service to fix this issue. I have in the past told people that are interested in obtaining my services that I work through care.com. I am currently interviewing with one of your customers and up until a week ago my account was working. Why is there no customer service any longer? Is care going out of business? Regards, Veronica

This is the worst and most unhelpful site and company ever. I have wasted two days dealing with my account and someone who isn’t helpful at all has basically told me sorry, took my 18.99 and won’t let me into my account. Horrible.

I just needed to get some information on hiring babysitters but it seems that unless you join as a member, you can't get customer care; no email, no CONTACT US available, no live chat.. Judging from all the bad reviews on here, I should not be too disappointed.

Poor value for money -had to pay because couldn’t see all my messages but then when I’ve messaged people no one responds - which I don’t suppose they will if they also have to pay to send messages!. Complete waste of time and it auto renewed so ended up paying twice. Will never use again

Terrible. As someone looking for work paid the fees to be able to have more access. Have contacted almost 10 jobs posted there and not one person has seen or replied to the messages and ir applications. Way too many for it to be just not right applicant. Scam

I used this service one time. I paid for the entire year. They charged me without notice for a reoccurring charge, and when reaching out they provided me with a generic email that they did not even read! Ridiculous, Buyer Beware!
