i don't have an experience yet. i'm being charged for a service i haven't used. i'll leave a review after i see what's available and if there is someone for me i ask for live in. you give me people with other jobs who either cannot spare time or have limited days and times. in the meantime, i've paid you almost 200 to join . for what?

Care.com really does not care. They have you sign up for a yearly or monthly membership that auto renews and is hard to cancel without reaching out to customer service. They will not refund charges for this auto renewal even when they can see you did not use their site. The care givers do not really reply and want to work with you off the site. I would recommend using a different service. Their BBB rating is terrible as well. They should work on their product and not forcing people into renewals they do not want.

Sneaky annual auto subscription fees without reminders! No full refunds either. This is horrible customer experience for busy distracted parents on a tight budget. I signed up in 2018 and used the service for a short period of time. In 2022 i check my credit card statement (for a card i rarely use). There's a charge for 108. Haven't used the service in years. I am busy: two young kids, a growing business, a move out of state. And so on. Contacted them right away, expecting understanding and a refund for the most recent renewal (no doubt they've charged me for other annual renewals that went unnoticed). Most companies provide customers with full refunds in such circumstances. Care.com refused to refund the full amount even though I haven’t used any paid features in YEARS. They said that their renewals are nonrefundable per their fine print. No reminders, haven't even used the site in years, and no refund? Seems like i am not the only one with this complaint. As another reviewer mentioned, *sneaky auto-renewing subscriptions are considered unethical, and face growing regulation for consumer protection as some companies refuse to be ethical without explicit laws. As far as I can tell, their actions towards me have violated California laws that went into effect a few months ago.' Same. Perhaps another legal team would like to revisit the 2020 $1M class action lawsuit care.com lost. They must have settled but this slap on the wrist did nothing to stop their unethical business practice. Now that there are CA laws in place there may be a different way to approach this matter and i encourage any CA residents who to file a complaint with the CA Office of the Attorney General. See: oag.ca.gov and search Consumer complaint against business or company. Complaints can be filed online. I am going to do this today. It's not about the money. Its the principal. I would never treat customers like this and this practice needs to stop.

Messaged plenty of “babysitters” many did not answer and the ones that did we’re quite ignorant and snobby and did not seem fit for the job. Along with that many of them don’t even seem serious about babysitting it’s almost impossible finding a decent babysitter on here and if you do they always say not available . Go else where to find a babysitter and don’t waste your time or money.

I signed up for the Premium account because I was offered a coupon code. But I was never prompted to enter the code, so I ended up being charged the full amount.

Really not a great site from a tech perspective. Hard to navigate and not a ton of options to find hired help.

I had a terrible experience with a cleaning lady from this website ,it was the worst experience ever I asked her to clean floor and she literally took all of the things off of my walls and thru them in the trash this woman took the cake . Never in my life have I had a cleaning lady throw out my medicine ;she did ,she was the worst experience of my life truly the worst in my life ,never again

cancelled my account and don't know why- sent a inquiry to them and got a canned response that said basically we can cancel for any reason and don't have to tell you why we did What a load of crap- will find someone somewhere else
