I like the site, but I meet so many con artist I worked with one lady and she never paid me up till now. I also get a lot of people who are moving to my area but doesn't seem to be sincere.

I been professional caregiver for 19-20yrs , I know my job very well. I been with people who had different illnesses or just need a companionship , I could tell and teach you what to do and when and how and so much more. People on Care .com looking for someone who wants to work almost for free or barely for nothing . Care.com worries about caregivers background and other , but have care.com provided any background of the people who looking for a person to work for them ? So many situations when you go for interview and you meet people who just having fun interviewing , entertaining them self , literally waisting ppls time and other. Sometimes I see so many same ads and same people who looking for a person to work for them , but when you reach out ,contact them it's like they don't exists . So it makes me wonder if care.com just makes up those ads to look like they actually have so much to offer. I am getting more and more disappointed with care.com

Hi Aliona, as a self-service website, all of the jobs are posted by individuals and families looking for care. They set all the rates and requirements for each job posting and schedule the interviews and hiring. We're sorry if you haven't received responses or found a job but encourage you to not give up. I have been listed on care.cin for 8 years, held many positions through care.ciom. My issues are only with technical side of site in last year when many changes have been made causing me many hours of frustration on the mobile site from a new I phone. Nothing seems to be resolved if you bring it to the tech side. I still have listings from Massachusetts appearing on my San Diego site. Never been there. Many other issues make use challenging in a smart phone. Most care givers are not using a computer when working and depend on this nibike site . Need have a better issue resolution portal.

I was going along really enjoying Care.com its my primary source for jobs. Then I had a phone interview with a parent which was 15 minutes long and she gave me 3 stars and said I was OK would do in a pinch. Now I had never met this parent or talked face to face with her. How did she get this opinion. Well since this REVIEW I cannot get anyone to call on me for an interview. It seems like no one even looks after reading this. She royally messed up my career.

I had a woman leave an unsavory and unfair remark on my profile which I believe sways the opinion of prospective employers. I DO NOT know this woman, never met her, and only briefly spoke to her on the phone. Yet your management will not remove this unfair remark. This is not right. This is unfair and unkind. I totally agree when an employer/employee has had a bad experience that they should be able to write freely in an unbiased way to help future possibilities make informed choices. HOWEVER - I do not know that woman who made that nasty remark. Why do you allow that to stain my (excellent)reputation?

I have been a member since 2009 and I have never been able to post any pictures I submitted always rejected. I am a member of two other sites that took the same pics I sent you. This has hurt my business on ur site.

I really wish I hadn't paid for the membership. I didn't understand that it wasn't required and I feel like it was a complete waste of money. Website is not super user friendly. For example, my profile shows I am available for after-school care, but I am not and despite several attempts I was never able to make that go away. Customer service was basically nil. I had someone post a review for me and they somehow lost it so it never did get posted to my profile. I ultimately got my job through word of mouth, so didn't really need care.com at all.
