Misleading sign up on web site

Misleading sign up on web site. Buyer beware! I signed up for a month with this group on my phone. I did not realise this would generate an automatic subscription as one needs to scroll down to see this information in fine print. I contacted the company for a refund and they refused. This company connects people with housekeepers and carers. The process was misleading and and I did not find a helper through their website. To improve, I would urge the company to revisit typestyles and size of the automatic renewal font and placement of this information on their sign up page of their web site. Furthermore, I would urge them to remove the option of sign up for just one month if this is not an option without automatic opt in for subscription. In addition, it would be a good and transparent and simple move for them to institute a reminder email if they continue with automatic renewal so customers like myself are not disadvantaged by additional payments they are unable to afford.

This information is included on every upgrade page, as well as our billing confirmation and Terms of Use. Our service is by subscription so members have the convenience of using their premium benefits whenever they need them. Unreliable, flakey caregivers.com
In theory this is a great site for finding the care you need. However, despite trying to find caregivers for multiple purposes (senior care, child care, pet care), I only found flakey people who either didn't respond to messages I sent them, or worse, who would say they were available, and then turn around a few days later and say they were booked. I got NOTHING out of care.com - and I wasted hours trying to find caregivers on their site (and it cost a little bit of money - huge waste!)

Care.com shared/sold my personal info…
My personal email was shared/sold without my permission. I know this because I don't have any other "care" related searches. Only Care.com, and now I am getting emails about promoting care for elderly and getting a medical degree for in home care. For this reason, I would not use this company. I canceled my 3 month membership.

Would give zero stars if I could
Would give zero stars if I could. I have approached 58 families in 2-3 weeks and have not even one reply. Not even a polite, no thank you we found someone else. This website is not offering any service whatsoever and charging us just to waste our time. Based on other reviews I am reading here, I am expecting that I will continue to be charged eventhough I already cancelled my subscription. I tried to ask for a refund, but there is absolutely no way to contact them. I have spent hours trying to find a contact lead, but there is none. Only dead ends. I assume this is intentional, because if your customers can't reach you, you can't be held accountable. This company is operating on high level professional scamming. Don't fall for it.

Absolutely a SCAM
Absolutely a SCAM, charged me $71 for their premium membership but service advertised were not provided. Online agents are horrible at explaining policy. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. Research before signing up. NOT HAPPY want my money back.

I would give them a zero
I would give them a zero, was charged the premium fee and never found one, not one person that wanted to work one to two days a week that was immunized in an entire year. Guess what at the end of the year i was not contacted to see if I want to keep subscription and charged me again DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE -it is a SCAM! Very unprofessional and site hard to work with

NEVER use care.com
Terrible service, ineffective, has very low values and pretends to be family oriented when they aren’t. They want their money and don’t care about you or your experience.
