Care.com is charging my credit card just so I can communicate with potential clients. It's a scam! I haven't gotten the first job from this site, yet have paid for 2 credit checks and now I'm being "upgraded" = charged. Don't give them any information!

And here it goes again .. after I posted my review .. care .com people stepped in asked to put post down because I was not telling the truth based on them ! Really ? & They are doing again .. talked to one client right after one msg in my app ..my msg got lost never be seen again .. can't contact the client she can't contact me either and I seem to block her like many other clients according the company care.com such an useless app no one wants to take responsibilities to fix the issue except they send tons of e mails telling you ! me in this case .. there is no problem .. all good on their end ! they are so sorry I have an issue & apparently I blocked the customer .. according to them & this is their a typical answer .. such a morons ! I wish they do something with app and allow people communicate !

Took my credit card number, expiration date, CSV, name, address, date of birth and the dates I'll be out of town and then "Request canceled. Sorry, but we were not able to verify your identity and this request was canceled. Please contact us via the Help Center if you feel there has been an error." Email returned - mailbox full. DO NOT give them any info about you. NOTHING.

Horrible customer service, deceptive business practices, unethical, and one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an online company. Like everyone else that has left reviews, my billing experience was a nightmare. Who knew that a business could charge you without providing a total and that by advancing to the next screen you would be charged automatically?!?! Attempted to cancel/refund literally moments after being billed and was told I was out of luck. I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE WHO HAS HAD AN EQUALLY AWFUL EXPERIENCE TO FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU AND THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU SO THEY CAN BE EXPOSED FOR WHAT THEY ARE: A SCAM!

This website is a complete scam. I registered for a month to find a household help. I messaged more than 15 people around my area and not a single person responded. 3 months later, I found that they have been charging me every month even though I registered only for a month. Contacted their customer and they refused to refund. Absolute waste of money and horrible service.

Care.com is totally a scam. They make you think there are all these people wanting jobs so you pay their fees. However, no one will ever answer your add and if you contact someone they will not respond. All the profiles are are fake to scam you out of your money.

I first used care.com in 2019 as a caregiver for families, I paid the subscription, which included a background check and driving record. I successfully worked for a family for quite some time and it worked out wonderfully. Fast forward to 2022, suddenly I was not able to log into my account at all, somehow my account had been deactivated with no way of recovering it. I decided to create a new account and basically start all over, big mistake. I had to pay a fee simply to have an account, then pay a separate fee to be able to contact potential clients, which I did. Upon further investigating, I found that care.com is no longer a legitimate site. There are no “real” clients, nothing is legitimate on the website. I quickly removed my payment information and contacted my credit card company. The site is like a sitting rock with a snake hiding behind it, just waiting to strike at your bank account/credit cards. How this site is still up and running and stealing from people is beyond me. Avoid care.com please!

Horrible and unprofessional babysitters. They do not respond or follow through for interviews. When you write negative reviews on their lack of professionalism they lash out and send harassing messages. I reached out to the company and they will not refund any money.
