SCAM company. When you sign up and post a job they will send you notification saying you have messages from sitters which you need to pay to view. After paying you realise there are no messages. They just forward you a copy of the profile of a bunch of local sitters. When you reach out to them they don't have a clue who you are or why you messaged them. Never even saw the ads or available for the dates. Also the sitters on here are not properly checked or anything. Tried getting a refund and no luck. Waste of money. Worst site ever. Would never ever recommend.

I was able to get a refund for automatic charges last year after using their services two years ago and forgot to cancel. I recommended them to a friend and she has been charged nearly $300 and never actually used the site. When she realized she had been charged they are refusing to refund the money. I will never recommend them to anyone ever again. I feel so bad that I suggested their services. They have no number to call and the chat person was no help at all. Update to care.com response: She had never used the service and was not aware of the charges. This happened to me and I was refunded which is why I recommended care.com because I thought you would also charge and treat my friend fairly. I will now let everyone know about the unreasonable cost and poor customer service she experienced. If you want to make it right, you should be more reasonable with refunding services not rendered. That’s also the worst possible approach to an apology you just gave.

Such a terrible company. I have registered for a month only.without any communication they keep taking money for 3 months until I realised and call them. They said as I didn’t told them not to charge so they keep charged me for 3 months. Never ever used such a pathetic service. Raise and request to refund money but they said they can’t refund. Struggling to get my money back in this expensive time. Been so much stressed due to this. Govt. Should banned these kind of cheated companies.

It is scam, people they show are fake, I was charged after cancelling, there is no customer service to resolve an issue unless you are a premium member. Negative stars

My wife and I used Care.com to find a dog walker as part of free trial. Low and behold, that free trial was not free after all! My wife reminded me to cancel the premium service before the trial expired, which I am certain I did. BUT, apparently this wasn't the case and we unknowingly paid for the service for nearly 2 years. Like seriously we had no idea Care.com even existed until 2 weeks ago when my wife was looking at your credit card statement. Now the issue is that my cancellation of service occurred nearly 2 years ago so I've already purged my inbox so I have not record. To make matters worse, I've received ZERO emails from Care.com over the last 2 years. Conveniently all receipts are just archived on their site and no notifications are sent via email confirm the purchase. If you ask me, there are too many websites like this. They sign you up for a monthly subscription then you never hear a peep about payments.

Terrible service! I have been on and off this site as a nanny and senior caregiver, and I've had some great experiences and jobs. However, I just recently renewed and paid for the subscription and they closed my account without any communication. I have been using this site for years and all of a sudden they are flagging that I am a business and not an individual. Look at my care history and reviews, I am an individual!!! I have sent multiple messages trying to explain this and they reply the same each time. Care.com, have a phone number for customer service, review an account thoroughly before closing it down, especially after someone has paid for it and has been a loyal customer over the years. Watch out if you want to use this service for a month ONLY for childcare purposes. They state that "Care.com membership is a subscription service and is non-refundable stated in terms and conditions". Therefore, if you do not intent to let Care.com to keep taking payments from your bank account after a month, do NOT sign up for this service at all. There is no telephone number in their website and/or when you try to cancel your "after a month paid off", they just change your plan but do not cancel it. I had to cancel my card and open a dispute with them as they kept charging me for four months. I have not logged in to this service at all after a month paid off. I thought I had cancel it in their website and clicked on update membership before the 30 days expiry but they did NOT cancel it. I had no email and no notification from this service about the status of the membership at all. It just kept charging with the highest level of the plan (premium). I never paid or signed up for the "premium" level. In response to your reply, I tried to cancel it as per described above but your website does not cancel it but down upgrade the plan ONLY. It is so disappointing!
