I was able to find sitters for my two children twice through care.com. I am pleased with my experience.

We have used Care.com twice to find nannys for our two boys! The idea of a stranger caring for your most precious babies is beyond hard. Care.com made the process so easy both times 3.5 years apart. We found our perfect match both times and couldn't be happier with the process and the outcome of total peace of mind. Thank you!

My family has used care.com several times, as we are a military family, and we move often and therefore have to find caregivers in a new place, without a network of friends or family to refer us to trustworthy individuals. We have always been able to find a caregiver that met our needs and with whom we could develop a pleasant relationship. In addition, when I once forgot to cancel my membership after we had found a sitter we liked, care.com graciously refunded us the fee for that month after I explained my mistake. We have had an excellent experience with them, and would recommend the service to anyone.

Customer Service helped me so fast, and so efficiently. I was having trouble navigating the website and when they spelled it out for me in a way that did not make me feel stupid at all (like many other businesses do!). They also followed up not once, but twice! with more navigation tips and to ensure that I did not have any other questions.

In June 2014, it was clear that I would need to take care of my aging mother who had just lost her vision to glaucoma and was healing/rehabbing a broken femur. The first six months were very difficult without much sleep and without caregiver support. I was googling every term I could think of to find help and I had no luck because 'respite care' was not in my vocabulary. My mother began seeing a therapist and she knew all about Care.com and my world and my mother's world changed for the better. I had a variety of pre-screened candidates for respite care and the process of finding one for my mom and a few back up selections began. In short, I found a perfect companion for my mom through the secure email communication and then through interviews in our home. She took care of my mom every Saturday for 12 hours while my husband & I got out to see our grandchildren and family. I never worried, my mother loved the new company, she had wonderful stories to tell, they had conversations, watched movies, read newspapers, worked crosswords...this woman was a gem. Did I get lucky? No doubt. But I am quite sure that the same good fortune awaits any caregiver looking for support. In my opinion, Care.com is about safety & caring which is why they succeed.

I have used Care.com for many years now to find nannies and evening babysitters. In every case I have found a really good fit for our family. I will continue to use care.com for any childcare needs my family has!

We have been able to connect with a number of different people who can help us out by caring for our animals and house. The profiles allow you to evaluate their experience and background, and the recommendations really help you understand how good a job they've done for others. The interface makes it easy to connect with lots of people. The membership fee (for both providers and those who use the services) is well worth it. I much prefer this model to the TaskRabbit/Uber model of payment through the website.
