Hi Sara, We are a paid subscription service and not a free service. I'm sorry if you thought otherwise and therefore felt mislead. That was never our intention. Many sites like ours charge a fee in order to be able to offer you the features our site offers. Otherwise we'd just be like any other free classified site with very little to offer.

I haven't used them and won't. They actually that it would be appropriate to charge it's users to find service workers. I imagine they ALSO charge their service workers too. There are plenty of services management websites that don't try to nickel and dime

I am a victim of a bully attack inside their website from another care.com member. 15 years of finding and being found by families and getting hired numerous times. Care com was and always will be my only source of making a living. 15 years of a really long, great relationship without any problems..until another member "reported" me and no chance of defending myself and setting the record straight, I lost all means of finding work, because of an unjustified bully attack...Martina P.

Simply go to a message string with the member and on the right side of the page you will see a phone icon, a heart and three dots. Click on the three dots and you will then see the option to report a member right on the site. You can also find this feature on the member's Care.com profile. Joined care.com for free at first, then paid for a three month offer so I could contact possible clients. I had a few enquiries, but the jobs were not suitable. I did contact a number of possible jobs, but none of the advertisers replied. I had no problems cancelling my subscription and then went on to close my account as I didn't want to receive emails.

Care.com is a portal for matching families and caregivers. Signing up is easy, but it is expensive. The free account cannot send messages. There are plenty of people and profile with pictures. However, like a dating app, it takes a lot of effort to find people interested in the job. There isn't any matching algorithm to find the right person to do the right job at the right time. I haven't found a perfect person for the job yet since I joined. :( May be care.com can be great again after a makeover.
