I have used Care.com on-and-off for four years and have found it to be an excellent service. I have found quality housekeepers on Care.com to clean my home during that time and hired 4 of them. Some advice: Like hiring anyone, it's important to exchange messages and feel comfortable with a provider before hiring them. If they don’t have references, ask for some. Be specific about what you want to have them do/assigned duties and the rate you will pay. Never assume anyone knows what you are expecting if it’s not in writing. Note related to users that have complained about auto-renewal: The easiest thing to do is, when you sign up, put a reminder on your smartphone's calendar to alert you in 29 days to downgrade your membership if you are not using it.

Found a great nanny for my 4 year old and 1 year old during this COVID-19 madness. She's been a god-sent to our family. Online experience interviewing several other candidates was simple and easy as well.

Two years ago we needed childcare over the summer in a hurry after traveling out of state. School was out, camps weren't in session yet, one of our children was below the age limit for camps, and we'd lost our backup care. We were in a panic. I'd tried the site out in the past and didn't have a great experience in our area. In the new location we gave it another try and I realized it really comes down to your area. We found incredible and reliable care and located two different sitters who helped us out over two weeks. Any issues we had were minor and came down to our communication with those sitters rather than the site itself. I felt like the process was very easy and the biggest concern was just the number of candidates we got and some not being honest about their availability or transportation. This is where it was imperative for us to ask questions and do our homework. I'm thankful we found good folks we could trust when we needed them most. Now I understand the site better and my role in using it. I did make sure to cancel our membership as soon as we no longer needed the service!

Angella Paterson was with us for several years as a night sitter to my father. She never missed a day of work and always arrived on time. Got along very well with the family. Highly recommend her!

I hired Renee Easterly for her experience with dementia. My husband can't be left on his own anymore for his own safety. Renee and my husband hit it off right away. She has over 10 years experience with this form of care. She is always on time and does not smoke. Which are very important to me. She cooks his supper meal and gives him his medication per my instruction. If there are any cognitive therapy homework she will work with my husband on that too. Now I can go bowling with my friends on Tuesday nights without worrying about whats going on at home. She has been a Gods send. I think I'll keep her.

Charlene took care of my mother 2017-3018. She was an excellent caregiver. Charlene did a fantastic job keeping my mother active and engaged in her final year. My mother was a finicky eater but used to have about the meals Charlene prepared. I never had to worry about her taking her medicine becsuse Charlene was always "Johnny on the spot" about meds. She also always kept my mother clean and the house tidy. Charlene was like a family member and I believe she cared for.my mother as she would have her own. Carole Ridley Hilton Head, SC

Theresa Vasquez is an amazing animal lover!!! Highly recommend her she is just full of love to these animals and treats them like they were hers!! Theresa makes you feel so comfortable knowing your animal is getting love and your mind is at ease as your puppy plays with her!! Look no further she is the one!!!
