I became a paraplegic in January of 2023 after knee replacement surgery. After attempting rehab in a nursing home for 100 days I returned to my home. I was determined not to go to a group home but it was obvious I needed personal care. I searched care.com online and found Carolyn Parris. From day one until today Carolyn and I have had a wonderful professional and personal relationship and I can't say enough about how much she's helped me in the last 6 months. She has cared for me, my dog and my home. I see her 3 hours a day 7 days a week. We begin each day with a bed bath, breakfast and restoring my bed and supplies. Carolyn feeds and walks my dog, does the dishes, the laundry, cleans the floors, dusts and has helped me downsize several rooms in my home. Carolyn also runs errands for me to the post office UPS FedEx and occasionally the bank. Her work and her personality have impressed another caregiver who does my grocery shopping and she has subsequently hired Carolyn to care for her disabled father. Everyone is pleased in that situation as well.
