Care.comReviews of care.com

This is a great site to find clients on but, some of the functions do not always work properly. I have tried to change my bio and it keeps using the old one and I tried to change my hours and it would not let me switch the a.m. or p.m. otherwise it's great!

good website but difficult to maneuver

I have used Care.com many times to get nanny jobs. I feel comfortable knowing that background checks have been done. I had an issue trying to update my profile. I am not sure anything was figured out but it is better now.

This is an awesome tool and I have met some great families through the platform. However, I do hope something can be implemented requiring those who post jobs to either close their ad or respond to applicants after a certain amount of time. Many postings receive applications but never receive a response from the families, or the response comes 60 days later. That can feel very unprofessional and discouraging for those who are actively seeking opportunities.

UPDATE: care.com reached out and provided a refund of my original charge. Thank you, care.com for providing some better customer service and thank you Truspilot for the help! I've adjusted my score from a 1-star to a 4-stars. They took $350+ from me, and because I wasn’t using the platform exactly as they intended, they kicked me out after 1 week of use for an annual subscription and wouldn’t return the unused portion of my subscription. No fairness or decent support. It's a shame. I will not be using care.com again unless something changes here.

Computer version is great. Kind of had difficulty syncing phone/app version with website vs app.

Care.com is an invaluable way to connect with people in need of a caregiver, and vice versa. Once my profile is up, it doesn't take long, a week at most, to be in contact with someone needing help. My only issue with Care.com is that at first I was seeing jobs in the wrong state. But, I sent one message to Customer Support and they fixed it quickly. Nobody's perfect. Within a few days, I was employed!

Got a great job on Care. Love the fact you can add multiple photos, the layout is nice, the yearly fee is a great price. My only gripe is many of the listings are generic sounding. I wish parents had to write their own listing instead of ai generated templated post. Other than that, great app!
